Tucker's Tavern — Restaurant in Elysian

Terrible experience. The poor bartender/waiter was the only person in the front. He had to manage the bar, make the drinks, take the orders, serve the food and bus the tables. We felt really bad for him. Multiple tables left waiting for service and there were at least 2 people that bussed and cleaned their own tables to just have a spot to sit. I understand being busy and under staffed however the kitchen had two people in it (including the owner). Why not have the 2nd kitchen person run out to bus a few tables and get things back on track? Also the owners wife was in the building but didn't help out and left without even helping the poor solo waiter. During this busy summer time in Elysian something needs to change or they will be losing customers often with this service. Unfortunately, don't expect fast service if...

Stopped in for some food around 5pm and the only people there was two bartenders one cook an old couple drinking and me. Hungry and thirsty I ordered a bottle of beer and it was warm 👎 the only food they had was burgers and pizza or sandwich wraps. I ordered a California burger basket that comes with fries. The burger was so small and over cooked that if it. Where not for the piece of lettuce and tomato there would not be much to eat. Normally you get a large helping of fries but there was not enough to cover the bottom of the red and white basket plastic. Worst food I’ve had in a long long time….I was hungry and air it up in less than 5 minutes….. and it cost around 15 or more bucks 😒 not ever going back ever. Should of gone over across the street to Fishers ,always good reasonable and larger portions...

Usually, my husband and I love coming to Tuckers .. but that was not our experience today. The server was friendly but she was extremely inattentive. She spent most of the night talking to her friend who was sitting at the bar and did not check to see if we needed anything at all. We sat for long periods of time wanting more drinks, food, etc. She also couldn’t get our drink order correct after 4 rounds. We had to get her attention if we wanted a menu or another drink. Additionally, when we ordered wings it was an additional $.50 per flavor on top of the actual wing cost. That would have been good to know when I asked the server about flavors before we ordered. We love the bar, but not super motivated to...
