First of all the entrance is on the hotel side. Go in the hotel entrance and the restaurant is to the left.
The atmosphere here is very casino. Shocker, it being in a casino. Everything thing is very colorful. That's not a bad thing, just a little in your face.
I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich ($16). The Sandwich consist of Spicy coleslaw, house-made pickles, fried onions, house-made bbq sauce. The Sandwich is a pretty sandwich. However the taste left a lot to want for. It's not a bad sandwich it's just very average. The bun was a cheap bun that easily falls apart, it does taste decent though. The spicy coleslaw was ehh and fried onions untastable.the bbq sauce doesn't stand out. The pulled pork was tender and again tasted average. I upgraded the side for $2 to the Carolina Baked Beans. They were not good. Maybe it's the carolina. I LOVE baked beans and I didn't finish these. By far the best thing was the pickles. Slightly spicy and delicious.
The service was excellent. Super friendly and efficient. They did a great job keeping my drink full.
Overall a 3 star review. It could have been a two, however service was excellent and the food overall was average, so 3 seems right. Would I return? No. I don't live close and while the other food is probably much better, if a bbq place can't do a simple pulled pork well, it's...
Read moreOur group of ten made reservations several days in advance but we were told to wait in the lobby for ten minutes despite being on time.
There were four or five people standing at the host stand and several of them had a grimace on their faces while looking at us.
We were led to a table directly next to the kitchen which was loud. The restaurant was not at all busy and it was a Saturday night.
The waitress was very inexperienced and it took several minutes for her to take our drink orders. She asked if our check was together or separate and the group took a little time to decide. I was sitting at the end of the table and she asked me to convince them to do one check to make it easier on her. Four ladies ordered different white wines and when the waitress brought them to the table she asked everyone to take a sip of their drink and check that it was the correct one.
The menu was a tablet that was not user friendly and didn't include prices. I ordered a brisket Mac and cheese which was close to $30. The brisket was fatty and had an off flavor and the noodles werent good at all. It honestly seemed like boxed mac and cheese.
Two drinks, an entree and a side salad were way too expensive for the quality of the food...
Read moreProbably the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The only saving grace was the food, which was pretty good on my behalf. Place looked dirty. Floor was covered in what looked like trash from previous tables. Server was extremely inattentive and neglected to tell us there would be an hour wait for our food of choice. After over an hour, my fiancé recieved an overdone brisket (that made him sick the next day) and I received a plate that had been sitting for an obviously long time. We ordered food that we also never got, despite asking about it multiple times. We were never asked about the bill, just got it shoved in our face. This restaurant was not busy in the slightest the entire time we were there, so I was surprised at our almost 15min wait to pay. Almost two hours after we sat down for what we thought would be a short meal, because we only got entrees, and we're finally getting up to leave. No one around. Saw other tables getting ignored, too. Did not feel welcome...
