Orders on the website for pick up, and when I got our sandwiches home, they had NO MEAT in them! Back I go to the store, and tell the young lady at the counter, she says she needs to see them and the receipt which I had, and then says to her coworker ( not me), “ I see what I did, I read it wrong”, and then says to me, “ we’ll get you two sandwiches, but you’ll have to wait, it’ll be a while because...” and then gestures to the two folks in line. I said fine, I’ll wait ( I’m sure she could tell I was a bit ticked), and then she muttered “that what I said” just loud enough for me to hear at the counter. No offer to get the sandwiches done quickly for the inconvenience at all, and never apologized for her error! When the new sandwiches were finally done, I thanked her, and her reply was “ yep”. Never apologized to me for the mistake or inconvenience, and quite rude after the fact too. I know things are difficult, and employees can be hard to come by, but customers like me are keeping this store open with our business, and since this location is close by, I’m fairly regular with my business here. However, it will be awhile before I go to Subway in general, and doubtful about this particular store in particular! I’m not asking to be fawned over or anything—I know people make mistakes, but I’m better and would have been more patient if “ I’m sorry about this, we’ll get you two sandwiches out as quickly as we can” was offered. Read moreVery rude staff. Had to wait for at least 10 minutes while the lady behind the counter was preparing just one sandwich. I called my order and the lady, completely rude, asked me the same question 3 times; looked like chatting and murmuring, I was not having any idea what she was saying. Took my sandwich and almost smashed it onto the counter and then without asking me, put it into the grill. She pretended that was not understanding what I was asking; just as if I would have ordered a subway for the first time. Pass it on to the other lady who seemed ok, but when I asked the remaining ingredients; same thing. May have not liked my accent, maybe. I was coming back to Canada from Chicago and did not have many options for a quick lunch around. But next time, I will make sure not visiting this place again; will hesitate to visit another...
Read moreI wanted to apologize for being rude a couple of weeks back. I was hoping that I was going to be able to redeem an expired coupon, and I had gotten out of the queue after it was explained that I wouldn't be able to. Taylor, the clerk was very polite, and she handled it rationally. I wasn't trying to be rude, I just was attempting to redeem an old coupon. I do appreciate this local business, and will return later down the line.
Really it was all a sunk cost fallacy, time spent on the coupons, and time spent with the coupons in my wallet being a "Loss". It's really a silly way to look at it all, but I do enjoy using the coupons, and I do truly appreciate how to situation was handled.
