I went in and ordered the Griffon add bacon for an extra $2.00 on gluten free bread. Also ordered the special for the day and a pickle plus a no bake cookie. The gentleman at the register was very kind and polite as I told him my wife was Celiac. He put in special notes and all for the sandwich makers. Well, when I went in to pick up my order, the pickle was missing so he got that for me. Then as I'm walking out to my Jeep I decided one red flag so let's check my wife's sandwich....well no bacon and both sandwiches were in the same bag when one is gluten free. That alone should tell the staff to bag that separately due to allergies and celiac diseases. When I get back in there the girl just manhandles my wife's sandwich and I tell her that this does not have any bacon on it and then I ask her if that was the gluten-free bread and she replied yes and I said well I want to make sure there's no cross contamination so she sets it down on the counter where other breads are at puts on a pair of gloves and then grabs some bacon puts on the sandwich wraps it back up hands it back to me walks away. The only good customer service that was there was a gentleman that was running the register today. Not too Keen on the sandwich makers and the young lady's attitude of just manhandling my wife's food. So just a FYI and heads up if you decide to go there. Keep an eye on bare hands on your food. And the gentleman at the register went above and beyond and said let me put that in a separate bag for you so he had the common sense to even put that in another bag so I'd...

Read morePassing through here, heading to Sleeping Bear, and we LOVE to find little local places to eat. This place was busy, so we figured it had to be good! There is no indoor seating, it's all outdoors, which was perfect for us! The staff was super friendly and helpful, despite being so so busy when we arrived. Everyone was smiling and happy, and they were happy to offer suggestions of the best sandwiches to try out.
This place is just adorable! I love how it's set up, and how cute it is! We ordered our food, and got a buzzer so we would be notified when it was finished. We had our pups with us, and even got a small kids sandwich for them to share! I just love how accommodating they were to all of my questions and how friendly everyone was! I found the price to be very fair for the food we got! I want to go back just to...
