Tiffanys Cafe — Restaurant in Empire Township

I would absolutely not recommend ordering food here. I ordered chicken shawarma, which was prepared within 5 minutes after I ordered it (and right after they opened…) which means I was served yesterday’s chicken, and it was grey, dry, and inedible. I had to spit it out after the first bite. As someone who enjoys and regularly eats chicken shawarma, I have absolutely no idea what I was served but it was certainly not that. I also ordered hummus and naan bread, which I hoped would be local hummus, and received 6 naan dippers, which were also inedible as they were covered in a mystery white sauce, and a Meijer brand single serve packet of hummus for $8. Luckily I have carrots in my hotel room or the hummus would have gone to waste. At least the staff was friendly and the coffee was drinkable. I would not recommend...

We went for ice cream...selection was limited and I thought the prices were a little steep for the amount of ice cream. My waffle cone was disappointing, but my spouses was good. Cash only....which is very annoying. We didn't realize until we went to pay. Yes, there are some small signs up that say cash only...but, in this day and age, I need it plastered right in front of my face if you are cash only....that old time method of payment is not used much anymore. Anyways, atm across the road was not working, so we had to drive down the road to another bank and come back to pay. It was a hassle, which admittedly could have been avoided if I carried cash...but,...

In some futile protest of the new "Mask Mandate", the woman working behind the counter was wearing a mask that had all of the fabric covering mouth cut out. On top of that, she would take the already useless mask off when she leaned over the counter to speak to customers. Obviously it's a clear violation of the mask mandate, but it was also simply rude to the customers trying to safely patronize her store. Many guests were walking out, including myself, it's a real shame that what seemed like a nice little ice-cream shop was ruined for so many due to the radical protest being carried out by...
