Surfdog's Java Hut — Restaurant in Encinitas

My favorite place for coffee and a bagel! I have been coming to Surf Dog’s for a couple years, and I have never had a bad experience. Usually, I get a coffee and bagel but sometimes I splurge for the fabulous egg and cheese bagel sandwich.

1. Super friendly and excellent service

3. the bagels are quite good
4. especially in the morning, I appreciate how easy it is to park in Encinitas
5. awesome location for coffee after a run or walk along the path
6. the egg and cheddar sandwich's with avocado, tomato, and SurfDog sauce is so yummy 10/10...

Java Hut is one of my favorite go-to spots in Encinitas for breakfast, coffee, smoothies, a place to have a casual meeting and use wi-fi.

Carlos the chef is extremely kind and prepares everything with quality and a smile.

Carlos at the register is also very friendly and welcoming.

Had the Peanutbutter Mocha, The featured coffee on the sandwich board out front. It was delicious, paired it with a Rasberry bar and sat inside because it was a bit chilly outdoors.Its cozy and comfortable indoors and the baristas are friendly and good at their craft. I enjoyed my visit so much especially since I had gone for a walk through the entire downtown of Encinitas and they were the one that finally pulled me in...
