Came to get some dinner for the family around 6:30 tonight. It was almost the customer’s turn in front of to order her meal. Young guy working comes over and immediately asks what do you want with such a rude tone it shocked me as well as the lady it was directed towards. She started her order and the rice was so quickly thrown into the bowl as well as the ingredients following. The customer turned towards the door even saying that looks “pitiful”. She finished the order and inquired about fajitas, although she didn’t remember the name. The employee then said they were all out which is understandable sure. The customer expressed her disappointment saying that’s the only reason she came which all of us have been there before. The employee then threw her entire bowl into the trash and came to me to start my order. The lady was shocked and said she wasn’t done with the order where he snapped back and said you wanted fajitas. She then ordered some fish tacos and there was going to be a wait so she stood by the drinks in front of the counter waiting. I finished my order, and filled my drinks and no one was in the store but her and I and the employees. I walked through the line and he said have a good day and I confronted him about the situation. Absolutely ridiculous to treat someone that way and how incredibly rude he was towards her. The excuses began flying from his mouth and she then overheard and thanked me but he then said he wasn’t supposed to be working and that he had someone quit today. So what, life isn’t fair and if someone screws you, don’t take it out on other people. The way he had treated this lady was so demeaning and unacceptable and she just took it. Hope he has a better day tomorrow but I doubt it. Most likely will not be back to Englewood, Vandaila is not too far away and I also know owners of different locations around here. Horrible experience today.
I believe the review just below mine was right there before me and if only they were there for...
Read moreFast forward two years...The managers break was more important then filling up the food bins...She should be Fired!! Shes been there since i can remember and how?? Shes aweful! Was just in there tonight Monday Feb 21. There was 3 kids working as far as I can see. Two guys and a girl. The Girl was in the lobby sweeping. One of the guys is running the cash register. And the other one was making food. Well I’d like to complain about the one making food. He was rude and obnoxious! He seen me they’re waiting on a delivery order he walks over mumble something I couldn’t understand what he was saying and then walks away. The kid at the cash register was very nice though when I asked him again with that kid said and he just informed me that it was gonna be a whole hour for delivery orders. I’m getting about sick and tired of you restaurants treating drivers like garbage! we make you money.. And you make us money. There’s no need for the rudeness from the staff that works there. I don’t see a reason why it would’ve taken an hour except for laziness because there was three kids working in there. With that being said I am always very polite, never rude to anyone. And I don’t appreciate being treated that way whether I’m a driver or a customer it doesn’t matter the person waiting for the food that ordered it is a Customer and should be treated right. I’m not saying that kid should be fired but he should have a good talking to about customer service and how to respect people. And also we’re was the manager? A good manager knows how to manage! And I would have got...

The food is pretty good and fairly consistent. However, the price for the portions is just a tad ridiculous - over $10 for a burrito seems semi reasonable until you realize there’s a laughably small amount of meat, so you order “double meat” and now it’s a $15 burrito.
The service is very hit or miss. A couple employees are friendly and professional and the others seem to hate their job and want to make it your problem. I’ve never been there when there’s a line so I don’t know how it’s such a burden for them to take 3min to make a burrito.
This location is also weirdly dirty, there is always food on the floor and tables so I always get my meal to go.
Overall, this is a decent spot for a quick meal since it’s on my way back from work. However, the prices are just not worth it unless you’re too tired to make your own meal.
EDIT : I gave them another chance and regretted it. There was a new employee who must have been high or something because he didn’t listen to a word I said.
I said I wanted some pico and he said “oh yeah salsa verde” and scooped that on. I said I wanted a “tiny” amount of the hot salsa and he slapped a full scoop on and then actually asked if I wanted more. I had to remind him three times to please add some lettuce as he tried to wrap the burrito. I was honestly a bit speechless, like was he messing with me?
Oh and somehow the portions actually got substantially smaller… this burrito has more salsa than meat and cheese combined. I tried but I ended up just throwing it out.
I will...
