Taco Bell — Restaurant in Englewood

June 22, 2019 at 6:50 pm- This specific Taco Bell location is one of the most dysfunctional, ridiculously ran establishments that I’ve ever been to. We’ve driven by numerous times, only to see a very long line, but this time decided to try ordering inside. BIG MISTAKE! These kids literally moved in slow motion, while not only one, but TWO managers on duty did NOTHING to help their team. While they were all on the struggle bus, I witnessed the young and very immature cashier pull one of the kids off of the food prep line, so she could go to the “bathroom”. She literally walked over to the front entrance doors and smooshed her face and body on it, I’m assuming in reaction to someone outside. At this point, about fifteen minutes in, 5 separate groups of people were waiting on their food, not including the poor people who were waiting in the drive-thru line. I finally saw one of the managers walk by and told him that there seemed to be an issue. He gave me a blank stare and walked away without saying a single word. One of the employees received a phone call and stepped off of the line, obviously in the middle of a very busy dinner rush. Every single person that did receive their order had to take it back up because of mistakes. I’ve worked in the food industry, and I understand how chaotic it can get, but there is absolutely no excuse for this kind of behavior. I would be understanding if the employees were actually trying their best to keep up and help each other out, but they weren’t. The ONLY reason I gave them 1 star is because of the two employees who were running the line for the drive thru window. They were focused and efficient, trying their best to get orders out. Went through the drive through, service at the speaker was friendly. Girl at the window didn't smile or speak except to say enter your pin number. All the food was crammed into one bag. Had my passenger check to make sure all the food was in there, it wasn't. I went inside and noticed how terribly dark it was in there. Manager was sitting at the tall table working on her computer. She looked up and asked what I needed and I explained I was missing 2 items. she loudly told the crew to get them made. they did and I went about my way. the passengers went ahead and started eating and the soft taco was so greasy the shell was stuck to the wrapper. The hard taco fell apart and couldn't be eaten. The burrito and crunch wrap flour tortillas were hard and crunchy. The bean burrito was the only item that was ordered with a custom request. It had been ordered with sour cream but the only thing in the shell was gritty cold beans and a few pieces of cheese. there was no sour cream, onion, or red sauce. Missing onions on these has been the norm for a while which is super sad on its own because that is what makes these things delicious. Overall we were completely disappointed in the meal. Was by far the worst taco bell experience we have ever...

This place is slow and so gross. I went last Saturday night through the drive through at 11pm. I waited in the drive through line and actually got the food at 12am! A whole hour for the drive through! There were about ten cars in front of me, maybe less! When I got up to the drive through window and could see inside it was DISGUSTING! There was cheese all over the countertops, the fryer for the quesadillas has gunk all on them and the floor...my god...looked like it hadn’t been swept all day! Bags on the ground, crumbs, everything! I went back again on Saturday during the day because I thought the night maybe was just a bad night. Nope!! Floor was filthy, countertops disgusting. Someone walked in and there was no one to take her order for ten minutes—cashier lady just disappeared. When the lady asked if someone could take her order the other people just looked at her like she was crazy and kept bagging food. Eventually someone came to take her order. There was one lady that worked there that was moving like she was on crack or something. At least she was moving quicker than everyone else! One guy was trying to figure out how to wrap a taco and it took him three minutes to figure out the right direction of the paper! Needs some serious help...
