My husband and I had a date night here! It was our first time eating here. We was told under new management and we should check them out. Everyone was friendly. It was actually a customer who told us to seat ourselves. It didnât take long for a waitress to ask us what we would like to drink. Itâs not a big place at all and they were very busy on a Saturday night. There was a live band called Backstage Pass also playing outside. We ordered the steak fingers & veggie plate. The steak fingers was delicious! The veggie tray was yummy too. We ate everything! There was no to go plates for us lol. The atmosphere was great. No one was smoking inside the restaurant. The only con was these dang flies! Since the door to the patio was up for the band, flies was trying to grub too. We just put paper towels over the food to keep them off. All in all we will definitely be back. I will also recommend to...
Read moreI went to Gary's Chicaros Club this past weekend. My impressions:
The medium rare prime rib was very very dry and tough. There was not even a pretense of pinkness in the center. Moreover, it was lacking in flavor - I hate bastardizing a good steak through the likes of A1, but this really really needed it.
The side salad had a distinctly bitter flavor to it, and the greens were wilted.
Steak fries came out cold, with a lot of stagnant oil permeating the substance of the potato. They were unpalatable.
As an unsavory added detail, I had a very rough night after eating here. Something did not sit right, and Montezuma certainly came to take revenge.
Chicaro's has suffered from a lot of bad press, lately, and I fear that the quality of fare served there has suffered as a result. I can't say that I am particularly inspired to eat...
Read moreGod bless this man for making me laugh. I pray all the minority groups leave this man alone, he is a great buisness man and deserves to serve his customers in peace without being bothered by an occasional freak who happens to walk in and doesn't get the hint that he doesn't belong. I'm half gay and shave my arm hair but if he kicked me out I would accept it and never return. In NY you can kick people out if you don't like their face, that means Muslims can kick people out of stores if they shave or if women don't cover their faces. It's a two way street, it's all fair, this is his restaurant and he doesn't want absolute psychos bothering his customers. Those gay people who bring dogs into casinos for example, they deserve to be segregated...
