Rude and aggressive staff who blames you if they make your drink incorrectly.
We ordered an iced matcha with hash-browns in the drive-thru. When handed to us through the window, the matcha consisted of several thick, green chalky clumps throughout the drink and looked hardly stirred, if at all. When we tried to point this out to the girl handing us the drink, she seemed confused and kept saying that it’s a matcha. We’ve had matcha at several different locations dunkin and non-dunkin affiliated, and we know it’s not supposed to have unstirred clumps that look like algae buildup in your drink. We were initially still going to just take the drink and leave, but my sister took a single sip while still in the drive-thru and gagged at the taste and texture. We waved them down and politely asked if we could get a refund, since from the cashier’s confusion we didn’t think the staff knew how to make the matcha properly.
This is where things take a turn, an older man joins the conversation (whom I’m assuming is a manager of some sort) and immediately gets defensive. He takes the drink and questions us on what’s wrong with the drink. When he explain it’s filled with unstirred clumps and tastes inedible, he catches an altitude and blames us for “how we ordered the drink”. He then proceeds to make up a lie and say that they can’t do refunds, while still pushing the blame on us for ordering the drink (even though he had already took the drink back). When we suggest escalating it to involve law enforcement, he finally hands over our refund- then immediately proceeds to slam the door hard in our faces.
Corporate needs to visit this location for customer service training, and have a meeting with management in charge. No other Dunkin location in the area has ever behaved as poorly as we...
Read more10/13/25 am - I HAVE A MAJOR COMPLAINT TO REPORT! There were 2 women working the drive-thru that morning. The larger and taller woman that was wearing the black Muslim hijab was at the window when I pulled up with my car. She was EXTREMELY RUDE! She never gave me a greeting and just held out her hand for payment without giving me the price of my order. I had to ask 3 times for the amount to know what I was paying. Then instead of opening up her mouth and verbally telling me, she thought it was a good idea to start tapping on the sign that's underneath the window. To let me know how much I'd be paying for my order. At that point, she could definitely see that I was visibly upset with the lack of customer service that I was getting.Then she started speaking in another language to the other woman working with her, and said "ATTITUDE" in English as the other woman glanced my way. I was VERY upset and could go on and on about the lack of good customer service given that morning! The way she carried herself at that window and how rude she was to me, only let me know that she's very comfortable interacting with customers that way, and I'm sure that I'm not the only one. I've had a MAJOR problem with not getting the costs of my order until I drive around to the window. It's been happening for years. That was the last straw. Read moreI’ve gone to this particular Dunkin a few times & I never had any issues. But today was different. I was rung up by a lady who was barely paying attention to my order so because of that she was misunderstanding the questions I was asking her. Instead of just apologizing she became frustrated & rolled her eyes saying “everyone else just usually says”.. thinking I was ordering something I was not. I then asked her about dairy free options but because she was looking around instead of focusing on what I was asking she started to give me dairy options. At this point I became frustrated as well. She asked me if I was okay not realizing that her attitude & demeanor was the cause of my frustration. I expressed to her that this is the first time I’ve ever had to deal with such rude behavior. I even apologized to her saying it wasn’t my intention to make her feel any type of way if I did. She said nothing & she handed me my receipt. I said thank you, & she just walked away. I received my order & left very upset. I hope she has a better day than me despite what occurred.
