Sharon's Sweet Beginnings — Restaurant in Enola

I was recently referred to Sweet Beginnings to purchase a cake for my grandson's birthday. I ordered the cake and between the time I ordered it and picked it up another friend of mine told me that Sweet Beginnings does not make cakes from scratch, their 'scratch' is a box cake and they doctor it up! I still decided to get the cake and when I went in the bakery, the cake I got did NOT look professional at all! The decorations looked like my grandson could have done a better job! As I was walking out the door with the cake, I could see ants on the floor and actually caught a glimpse of one on the counter where my cake had just been put in the box. I WILL NEVER, NEVER GO BACK THERE AND WILL ADVISE ALL MY FRIENDS TO FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY...

What a great business! I've been a customer for years and I'm never disappointed! She has great customer service and is very creative, bring her a pic of your ideas and let her create and shine! She does specialty occasion cakes too which Is what I usually get. A couple years ago had an AWESOME corset lingerie cake done by her, all the guest and bride were so impressed, in fact I'm getting another one done for my friend getting married in may, this time in hotpink and leopard! she will work with you too, half the cake will be red velvet and the other half choco chip pound cake, two of the brides fave. I was looking for some quality cupcakes for my elder mom's birthday, and I had previously tried Acme and Giant, as well as a few bakery shops - but Sweet Beginnings was the charm! They are awesome! The owner, Sharon, came out to help me and offered good advice. I had one of the cupcakes (have to taste test them for others! ;) and was impressed. I can't wait to see what their cakes are like, and will order one in a few months for my wife's birthday. I would highly recommend this...
