Ate here today, I had the sausage biscuits and gravy, absolutely GROSS. Dry, and flavorless. U got sausage on the side as well, two Pattie’s, hard abs dry… could barley but them with a fork and butter knife. Salt abs pepper couldn’t even save it… daughter had the fried chicken breast, green beans and mashed potatoes… sue selected the breast because I guess we figured it would be boneless, nope. It did however have ALL the gristle. Green beans had no flavor, just green beans… that’s it. Gross. Had to salt them like crazy. Weird little hair in them also. She stopped eating them at that point. Let’s get to the completely flavorless mashed potatoes, which I’m 100% sure sat under a heat lamp drying out. Groosssss! Found a weird hard thing in them, it wasn’t skin, it seemed like old meat or something. She decided to not eat those anymore either. The waitress was god awful, seemed to hate her job, instantly wished we had a different waitress. She was rude, unhelpful, and vanished. The bill was somehow $40 which I just paid and left because I wanted to get out of there so badly. This place isn’t a “homemade delicious joint” it’s more like your exhausted aunt cooked for you last minute and doesn’t own seasoning. I’ll never be back. How does this place have any good reviews?

Headed out to the Carriage Inn in Enon, Ohio, and folks, it was a breakfast to write home about. This place dishes out the kind of meal that makes any drive worth it. I went big with a plate-sized chocolate chip pancake that was all kinds of right – fluffy, dotted with melty chips, and just enough sweetness. Pair that with a sausage egg biscuit sandwich – simple, yet so spot-on. The sausage was flavorful, the egg cooked just right, and the biscuit? Buttery, tender, it's the kind you hope for when you order a biscuit sandwich. My wife had the steak and eggs, and let me tell you, it was cooked to perfection. The steak was juicy, the eggs were done to a T, and those fresh potatoes? They were the crispy, golden sidekick that completed the plate. And hey, the toast was the ideal crunchy companion to all that savory goodness. The vibe in Carriage Inn is just as warm and welcoming as the food, and the serving staff treat you like family. Just one heads-up – when it's time to show some love with a tip, make sure you've got cash on hand. All in all, it's a thumbs-up for the Carriage Inn. Great food, great people, and a homely atmosphere that's tough to beat! Definitely the best kept secret of Enon!!!

We stopped here for a quick brunch… granted we were not in a hurry but was stopping on the way home… there was only 2 tables in our area… hostess was nice… took our drink orders… brought the drinks and had checked on us before our waitress came… not sure if she was overwhelmed but the friendliness that the hostess had was not there… not rude but maybe rushed I have no idea if she was working other rooms or helping in other areas… the food took a while to make it out… something good to know ahead of time is it is cash tip only… Ice Tea was brewed and good Black Coffee was ok I think they used some kind of blend Grilled ham and cheese was standard Texas Tenderloin was tough I also added a couple of over easy eggs to the sandwich Ham and cheese omelette was fairly standard I guess you could say there was plenty of ham chunks Fries were cold Took some sweets to go and they were good

First time visit(Saturday, Aug.16) and was underwhelmed. Walked in, waited, finally a young girl said sit where you like. She brought us our drinks and bread(they serve it on tissue paper-no plates). Our server came up, didn't introduce herself and bluntly said, "Do you know what you want?", to which I replied this was our first visit there and need time to look over the menu. Wasn't 2-3minutes later and again she was back asking, we still needed time. I asked for bread plates and she acted as if I imposed on her, brought them over, plunked them down and walked away. We(my daughter and I) order. I order the fried chicken(ordered applesauce, too, that came out warm🥴), my daughter orders prime rib(med-rare). The prime rib came out barely luke warm. My daughter stuck her finger in it, I stuck my finger in it and she gave me a piece she cut off-cold! Server also forgot her stewed tomatoes and didn't believe when my daughter said she had ordered them, too. Waitress picked up the check and looked and said, "Oh, I guess there are two" and walked away.Dropped of the tomatoes, and left before we could mention the prime rib. I got the young girl that got our drinks and told her about the prime rib. She asked, "Do you want it warmed up or a new one?" I said, "A new one please. Warming up till it's hot will overcook it." She took it back to where the servers/kitchen was and told our server the issue. As we were in direct line of vision, our server closed the refrigerator door, put her arms out and bowed 3 times to the girl holding our plate! They returned with the prime rib(turned over on the plate) and it was THE SAME PRIME RIB and still barely warm! Went to the cash register where I saw the owner and explained our issue. He said, "Well, they warmed it up for you. Is it too done? Did she order it medium?" I said, "No, she ordered it med-rare and it's still barely warm, and it's the same piece of meat!" He said, "Well, we aren't giving you a new piece of meat. We warmed it up for you(Me-nope, no you didn't)." He said he would cook a new one. It was brought out, daughter ate it but was lackluster. I was eating my chicken, as I ripped off the skin to eat(my favorite part) there was a HAIR in the crust and it wasn't mine! After everything else, I said nothing because it wouldn't have mattered. For a service industry that is struggling right now, the people at this restaurant are terribly rude(The young girl that brought drinks and took the prime rib back was very sweet!) The bread was amazing! I asked if we could have more and our server said you get one refill free and then we have to charge you. We order the free refill. Somehow our bill came to $50+dollars for 1-Q(smaller)prime rib and 2 sides(that come with), 1- four piece dark chicken dinner with 2 sides, one side stewed tomatoes, and two soft drinks. Somehow we also managed to get overcharged. 🙄🤔 Well, our first visit will be our last. I drove almost a half hour to get there, staff was rude and unwelcoming, cold food was warm, hot food was cold. The attitudes from the get go were terrible. I'll just go to the Melodee. Chicken is better, and the atmosphere is much nicer, and it's a...

Ok.. I'm conducting a social experiment you could say. I never knew about this place even living only 20mins away. Saw someone talking about taking visiting family there and saw they do All You Can Eat and was immediately interested. Saw the multitude of bad reviews but far more great ones. I guess those people with the 2 year old leaving multiple bad reviews weren't planning on buying anything for the kid! Lol It's fine to feed them from your meal but NOT on AYCE. Standard rules folks!!! Order the child a kids meal! Anyway, I'm here now and it's busy. Two separate dining rooms and it's a little bit loud likely because most tables are full. Not terrible though as Flemings is MUCH louder and they are "upscale". Chicken is 15 unless you want all white which would be an upcharge. Didn't ask how much and just got the regular chicken AYCE Came out quickly and REALLY GOOD! The coleslaw is same flavor as Melodee but not as finely diced and I like the bigger pieces here better. You get green beans in addition to mashed potatoes and I could have done without the beans even though they were great. I would have rather had french fries because I'm 3 and a half years old but I didn't dare ask about substitutions because I didn't want to upset the process and skew the test.... They have bussers who also get your drink. Then you have a server. Both were really nice and attentive.

Everything was delicious! They should probably give you more than 1 napkin that the silverware is wrapped in and a spoon would be nice because I had to drink the last but of coleslaw juice from the dish.... Lol

Didn't have any issues at all. I think they just get done odd, rude, demanding people but the regulars (like I will likely be) LOVE it!!

I will say I don't like it when restaurants only have certain things available certain days of the week. This makes it impossible for me to go there anytime I get the craving because they probably don't have what I want on that night. I shouldn't have to go on Friday or Saturday to get a steak because at night time I pretty much always...

The lady that got our drinks and cleaned the table was great, but however the owner and the only waitress working were rather rude to my family. We were seated in a booth and we were told that we would be moved to a bigger table since there was five of us, and were just sitting and waiting for the other family to leave but then the owner came up and asked us to get up and stand which is fine but how it was handled was horrible, the owner came up to us and told us there were twenty people waiting to be seated kinda like we were lesser than them and also seemed as though the initial family sitting at the table we were getting were rushed to leave. The only waitress that was working tonight was rude as soon we walked in and seemed as though we were an issue, we had brought my grandparents and she had thought we all walked away and had said under her breathe to us to "go and grab them because they seem lost" which is ridiculous to talk about someone's family like that. I will say the waitress was professional once she took our order but it was incredibly clear that she was trying to make up for how rude she was to begin with. There was also reserved tables which is fine but alot of business was lost and when people came in and asked about the tables they were told they couldn’t sit and once those people got out of eyesight of the owner and waitress it was very obvious they talked badly about those people. How everything was handled was distasteful. So much for that...
