Birreria Olgys — Restaurant in Ensley

I got lunch from here recently. The California Burrito and Nachos. Prices are fine, $12 respectively, as I recall. The rub is its cash only. Fortunately, I had the cash on me, but the half dozen guys behind me didn't and ended up walking to the store beside this place to use the ATM. The dining area was clean but expected to be built quickly and for the food truck. No mistakes were made, and I ended up not eating there due to the small size of the dining area and volume of guys already eating there. The food is very good. Despite no one being in the store for several minutes before I entered(I sat in the car to finish a conversation) the tables were pretty dirty. I ordered 1 carnitas taco, 1 chicken taco, 1 asada taco 1 queso-birria taco, beans & rice. The young lady at the register was distracted and missed part of the order so I had to return causing HER to have an attitude, as if she was just super annoyed to add to the order🤯! The chicken/asada& carnitas were all super dry and flavorless, the birria tasted good but was dry(I didn’t realize there was no au jus until I got home), and the beans&rice were just nasty. I hate to say it that way because it is not descriptive enough, but I just have no other words for the beans and rice. Defs...

Hands down the best authentic Mexican food in North West Florida. I've been to over a dozen Mexican food trucks here in North West Florida and nothing compares to Olgys. I'm from Texas and used to having plenty of options for good Mexican food and it was a rude awakening moving here and finding out there are few and far between. I drive 45 minutes from home just to eat here... ITS THAT GOOD! Only recommendation is to double wrap the tacos so they don't fall apart. Get the Pastor you wont regret it. El Lote is amazing also.

Prices are pretty fair and the staff is friendly. Will continue coming here as long as I live...
