Working in the park around the corner, I stopped in here to see if I could use the bathroom. There was one customer there visible even though it was 11:30a, so I'm guessing they're not known for their popularity anyway, but I requested to use the bathroom and had a sincere need. It got to the point where one of the waitresses needed to ask a manager and I said, "I am a human I really need to use the bathroom could you please allow this. She got into a conversation that she could not and I asked if she had a bathroom because she was using evasive statements and she said yes but it's for customers only. I said what do you do when you have to use the bathroom at an establishment which wouldn't allow you to? She said she would go to the gas station I said the gas station isn't open 24 hours. Are you going to ask her what she would do if the bathrooms were all closed to her, she refused to answer and became angry at the obvious answer which is she would have to use the ground outdoors like an animal. She stated again you cannot use the bathroom here and I said that is insane, literally non sanitary, and not humane. If we can't at least respect people's bowel movements I don't think we should be managing a restaurant.

Read moreI just moved to Enterprise and love Italian food. I decided to order to-go a couple weeks ago after a very long day at work. I had skipped lunch and was famished. The server was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a chicken parmigiana with salad and cheesecake. Once my meal was ready I made my way home. About a mile from my house, I got a call from the server to ask what meal was in my bag. I pulled over to open the packaging to discover a lasagna. The server asked if I wanted to come back for the correct order and I politely said no, I was almost home and very tired. She said no worries, come back another day and we will replace it. I got home and jumped right in, but after a couple bites I realized the lasagna had a different taste about it. I tasted the sauce and it did not taste like a traditional marinara. It didn’t taste bitter or sour or smell off so I just figured they had a signature sauce that I just didn’t care much for. BUT, I was hungry so I ate it.... HUGE MISTAKE. I was horribly sick for the next 4 days. I called the restaurant 2 days later and asked to speak with the manager. I was asked what I needed and the server was very friendly and sympathetic. She took my info and said the manager would call me back in a little while. That never happened. The next day the same server calls me back and tells me the the manager asked her to call me back and tell me that no one else reported illness and so if I come back, they will replace my meal for free. I felt irritated that the manager could not find the time to speak with a customer. So tonight I went back. I started by identifying myself and asked if I could taste a sample of the marinara they use in the lasagna. Once I tasted it I knew with 100% certainty that the lasagna I ate was very different. When I told my server that she said all the right things but was clearly defensive and annoyed. I asked for my replacement meal and asked what that meant. I wanted to know if I could order any entree or if I could only order what I had ordered before. She then told me that they would only replace my pasta because that was the only item they got wrong. I was shocked! They not only gave me the wrong order, they made me horribly ill for 4 days, caused me to miss a day at work, and they wanted to treat me like this over a salad and piece of cake?? I asked to speak with the manager 3 times and she would not come out to speak with me. I am a hotel manager with 50 employees and see hundreds of visiting soldiers and their families every month. I have to deal with customer issues and complaints, you do not do that by dismissing the customer or making them feel like they don’t deserve your time or that you don’t care about your mistake! I have never received such poor customer service from any establishment. I will NOT be returning or recommending this...
Read moreWe gave Cafe Roma's a second chance after a HORRIBLE experience the first time we visited in 2022. I should have followed my instincts since NOTHING about the poor customer service has changed. Don't EVER go there if you want quality customer service or anything that resembles timeliness. On both occasions, it took an unusual amount of time just to be acknowleged; not to mention, the 20 minutes, on both occasions, waiting just to get a drink order. There's more. This time we actually tried to place our order as soon as the waitress (pun intended because of the long WAIT) came to the table. NOPE, she said she wasn't going to do that because she had other tables to attend to. Of course, we told her to forget about it as we got up and left. I may be wrong, but I believe she was the OWNER. When I tell you that me, my family or friends will NEVER patronize this low-budget restaurant imposter, I cannot emphasize NEVER. I would NOT recommend going there if you're hungry or expecting quality customer service as you will scratch your head trying to figure out what the hold up is. If it's crowded, I'll pray for you to have the patience of Job. You will need it. You're better off taking yourself to the Mellow Mushroom. You'll get better service at a fast food chain. I'm baffled as to how they remain in business. It's not the great service because that doesn't exist there; and from the first visit, the food is mediocre at best for Italian. Something tells me that the nonchalant customer service is systemic in the culture of that particular place as they probably think they're the only show in town. News break, you're not. No need to ask for this review to be removed. It will remain as long as there is an Internet. Two words if you feel like trying them out: DON'T BOTHER! I have NOTHING to gain by lying on a restaurant's poor customer service. **As management you have EVERYTHING to lose by being untruthful. LIKE I SAID, "Don't bother." I now see why the lot is usually empty. If you put as much energy into customer service as you did to lie in your response, business may actually pick up, but I doubt it. Poor service is a reflection of poor leadership. By the way, spell...
