Spent some time in the local area and stopped by this donut shop. Highly recommend this place if you enjoy good donuts. The dough was soft, pillowy, and slightly chewy. The filled donuts contained a good amount of filling as well. They are probably some of the higher-priced donuts you'll find, but honestly, they were some of the best donuts I've had in years. The size of the donuts was fairly large as well. The twist was almost as long as the box.

I love these donuts! They have so many varieties. Cake donuts are my favorite and I always go with death by chocolate or one of the three red velvet variations (glazed, cream cheese, or cream cheese with nuts). My daughter loves the colorful sprinkle yeast donuts. I'm glad a second location was opened because the cake donuts go fast!

Downtown Doughnuts has exceptional pastries. I love the doughnut options and the variety of coffee and milk products that they have there. You can even pick up some OK as well! Make sure you get there early because they shut down shop once the doughnuts sell out. I am always happy to shop there.

Good donuts, not the best I’ve ever had but definitely the best in Enterprise. They do have a wide variety, which I’d say is the best part about them.

The price is outrageous though. I paid $16 for a half dozen donuts. Their donuts are good, but not that good. I recently went back to my hometown & paid $13 for a full dozen & those are the best donuts I’ve ever had.

Service isn’t great either, the couple times I’ve gone they’ve been impatient with me because I didn’t immediately know what I wanted. They have so many options, you’ve got to take a second to decide. It’s never been very busy when I’ve gone either. Usually no one waiting behind me, maybe one other person.

Overall a decent option...

I’m a proud son of the South, and I celebrate all her bounty. That’s especially true for her most glorious creation, Krispy Kreme. With all apologies to this finest of southern institutions, Downtown Donuts, right here in the City of Progress, is giving the famed donut shop a run.

Truly, a fine selection of donuts. I dare not recommend one as they were all equally special. But you know, some are more equal than others; treat yourself to a Reese’s donut, and if you’ve got it in the budget, maybe add a cinnamon and cream cheese donut. I wish I were a local so I’d have the days to try them all.

Downtown Donuts has my strongest...

The donuts themselves are very good (not the best I've ever had, but the best in this area for sure) and kinda fun and unique. However, there is nowhere to sit and the service is barely passable. No personality behind the counter and only minimally helpful with basic questions (including questions about their donuts). Donuts are mostly worth the cost - the rest of the experience is not even close to worth the price.

If you are just stopping to pick up donuts for work or something real quick, it might be a decent option, but I wouldn't bring my kids their for a...
