Read moreThis place is so neat! It's got a great feel to it. We must go at a great time... we've never been in more than a 3 person line but. The staff is always so pleasant. The food is pretty good. My husband loves the jalapeno Kolache. I think it's because it's an adult pig in a blanket. He didn't know for the longest time you could get it warmed up until he overheard someone ask for theirs to be warmed up. The staff never offered. So get yours warmed up. It tastes better. We've had several items off the menu. The coffee is rather tasty. Not too sweet, but still pretty sweet. I had the Cuban, which is a little dry. Maybe because there's a good amount of bread, light mustard or maybe the meat is not juicy but it sure is flavorful. Get a coffee to help wash it down. All in all, it's my favorite breakfast/brunch place. I wouldn't recommend coming here to read or study. I arrived before lunch on a Wednesday, ate my food & coffee, then tried sending some emails out, but it got pretty loud, so I had a hard time hearing...
Read moreI’m giving it two stars because we haven’t tried any of the other food yet, but based on what we had today, I don’t believe we want to try any of the other food here. The gravy was not properly made, the ratio to milk and flour was off, you can taste the flour and there was zero pepper in it. The bacon and sausage helped to give it some flavor because without those two things it would have tasted of nothing but flour. The kolaches are terrible. We ordered the jalapeño, sausage and cheese and a regular sausage and cheese, the sausage itself didn’t taste too terrible, but the kolaches themselves had a weird smell to them, almost like moldy cheese. We are not originally from Alabama and we were hoping to find a good kolache place since there doesn’t seem to be any around here, so this was a big disappointment to us. Seasoning people!!!! Put seasoning in the food!!! Minus the moldy cheese seasoning,...
