Upon arrival, I was surprised to see the greeter was at the back of the restaurant. My wife and I were seated at a reserved table for two although other couples were seated at tables for four. Of course my wife had to remove a serving tray from her seat to sit down. We had a charcuterie board and salad for starters. The salad was fine but the charcuterie board had a mystery meat that was the most vile tasting thing I’d ever tasted. Although relatively large the charcuterie board was no better than average although pretty expensive. I ordered the seafood pasta while my wife ordered the 12 oz ribeye, well done. It was under cooked and had to be sent back and cooked longer. The ribeye was the most lean ribeye I’ve ever seen. I would have thought it was sirloin by the lack of fat/marbling. Because it was reheated, apparently so were the potatoes…they were burned. My pasta dish had good seafood but the shrimp had the tails on which had to be removed and discarded because the sauce was too heavy to peel the shrimp tail without getting messy. The sauce tasted more like straight tomato sauce than anything else. Scallops were very good. Mussels were okay but required using hands to hold the shell and scrape the mussel out…messy. The fish, and artichoke hearts were fine. But the sauce was underwhelming at best making this dish unworthy of its price. Overall, this experience was a disappointment. We have had great dinners in previous visits but this meal frankly was not very good. It certainly wasn’t worth the $150 price tag. I don’t like to eat food that isn’t very good at no cost and certainly don’t like to pay a premium for the disappointing experience we had. As I write this I am enjoying a nice stomach ache since dinner. Not what I was hoping for. Probably won’t return after such a ruined 29th...
Read moreThis was truly a wonderful experience! Our server Brandon was EXCELLENT from start to finish. He made sure we enjoyed ourselves the entire time and never made us feel rushed but made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed to make our experience top notch! He was very genuinely kind and took pride in what he did. He made several suggestions and was on point with what he suggested . He made the experience even better than we expected. We didnt have to wait for anything with him, i mean he was on it and had his own personal touches. The food was delicious from the appetizers, to entrées, to dessert! The beverages were fabulous and well put together. I had the spicy starwberry margarita and my fiancée had a smokey pecan old fashioned (which were both on their cocktail list) we had other drinks too, but they were not listed on their menu, but they were made perfectly as well. The blue crab hushpuppies were amazing and so were the fried green tomatoes. We also had the tomatoe basil soup which was perfect ! For dinner we had the lamb and the ribeye which were also delicious. The creme Brule (which was one of my favorite desserts) was just fabulous! At the end he boxed our dinner for us and put a nice note on our box with really cool lettering which we loved( him and my fiancée actually spoke about how he learned to do the lettering since my fiancée like it so much lol ). We will definitely be back and will be asking for Brandon again in the...
Read moreWe have eaten here a couple times now. We made a reservation for 7 people to do our parent 80th birthday celebrations. In a short notice they adjust our original request for a party of 7 to a party of 24. It didn’t feel like we imposed they were kind and warming about the adjustments. They even reached out to offer some suggestions to help the evening flow smoothly. The staff was welcoming and gave a professional appearance. It was comfortable for all of us that were present. They offered wheelchair assistance and access. It was a great experience. They even surprised us with a little extra, making the experience feel intimate and special for us all. During our party they had a few other events going on and still taking the normal restaurant tables. Special shout out to the owners and staff. Something that stands out is how they offered the drink specials to our guest and dinner specials. It was a beautiful experience and a memory that will last a life time. The chef’s also came out to meet everyone personally and wish our parent a happy birthday with a card from the staff signed. We definitely felt special and well taken care of. Also had a sibling who was not able to fly in but did make a special request a seafood tower for all our guest. This was excepted from the chef’s the day before and welcomed the request. It was fun to work with them to plan this event that was special to us. Thanks again for going...
