Overall a good experience. I came for the first time with a group of women for a goodbye party for some friends. There were about 15 of us and we did not call ahead or do any research prior about available seating so that is on us. So for future reference for anyone in groups bigger than 6 it is limited if it is busy and you all want to sit together. It isn't impossible though with some planning ahead so it is not a negative on the business, just an fyi for bigger groups. The ambiance was very pleasant and welcoming. We didn't know that we were coming on a trivia night however it was a nice addition to our get together, a pro is that it wasn't so loud that we couldn't have our party individually while trivia was going on. It wasn't obnoxiously loud or the only event taking place in the entire establishment so that was nice. I ended up ordering the bruschetta as I was snackish. It was good enough to satisfy my mild hunger and not entirely expensive as one person. I personally like more Mozzarella than 3 slices but if I broke it into smaller pieces it worked fine. I would not choose this place for the food if I was famished, it is more of a social gathering place that is really nice where you can order some drinks and a few food items like Charcuterie or Bruscetta or Spinach Dip. I ordered two drinks, the Orange Dreamcicle and the Chocolate Martini. Both were decent in my opinion. I didn't pay an astronomical amount for each drink so I was okay with the satisfactory taste. I cannot speak to the other drink and menu items as I did not try anything more than that. I did really enjoy the service though, both servers were very attentive, the waitress was very detail oriented. She didn't forget about anything and she managed her time very well with the complexity. Fyi though, If you're in a big group just remember to check your itemized bill because they automatically add gratuity when you close your tab. Again, I don't blame them for adding that, I am just saying look at it and then calculate the difference of whatever you...
Read moreTried to visit this establishment tonight. Multiple patrons were clearly highly intoxicated evidence by just how loud they were shouting. I tried to find a seat at the bar away from these people. I was told, in a rather rude tone of voice, that I couldn't sit at the largest part of the bar area because it was for walk-up only. There was clearly plenty of space, and I made the comment that I thought it was ridiculous. I was willing and actively moving to a different location. However, at this point, two of the bartenders / I guess managers said I was welcome to leave. Clearly, not feeling welcome and not wanting to waste my money on such people. I took them up on their offer and left.
I get it. They had a rule. But the attitude and willingness to throw away the $50-70 check I would be spending there just because I said it was "ridiculous" is in itself ridiculous.
As a military member visiting from out of state, this clearly wasn't the welcome that I expected. I highly encourage anyone else looking for a good time to avoid this place. Obviously, they don't care about making money or for treating visitors...
Read moreGreat look and feel. Clean.....that's where I will leave the positive. The bartender was eating while making our drinks. Food came out and the Mac and cheese with short rib had a decent flavor but the portion size would not feed a child, much less a shareable Tapas style serving for 16 dollars! We also ordered the shrimp tostadas which came out undercooked and then were told by the bartender who was still eating and serving....that "sometimes the frozen products we serve can be tricky" then to add that the cabbage on the tostada was not seasoned and raw! The place has potential due to location and great decor but not if your going out to eat.....there are better options within walking distance....and to be clear the check was not comped just the RAW ITEM that we did not replace...you ask why I put this on Google. Its called accountability and Good luck. Noticed in your reply you also didn't mention the bartender eating while serving and not even washing hands in between! Food service 101 don't eat in front...
