We were greeted at the door by Evan, all smiles and genuinely happy to answer our questions before we even made it past the foyer. Right after we were seated, Pablo came by with such a patient and friendly vibe. He took his time telling us about the place, their focus on quality, and how their seafood comes in fresh every day from the East Coast. He answered every question we had, and we never once felt rushed.
The whole restaurant was impressively clean. Not just the tables and floors, but even the light fixtures and windowsills. Little things like that really stand out because, let’s be honest, they get overlooked in a lot of places.
Our food came out quickly, brought to us by Dylan, who made sure we had everything we needed before giving us space to enjoy our meal. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, tender and easy to enjoy without being rubbery at all. And the Capt. Loui spices and seasoning? Incredible. The flavor was balanced with just the right amount of heat. We went for the "extra hot" and it delivered exactly what we were hoping for. We ordered the two-pound combo, which was perfect. We shared a pound there and still had another to take home for the next day.
While we were there, we watched family after family, couple after couple, come in. Each one was greeted within a minute of walking through the door. Pablo and Dylan checked in on us just enough to make sure we were good, but never in an over-the-top or hovering way.
At the end of the day, no matter how good the food is (and Capt. Loui definitely has that covered), its the service and the atmosphere that make a place worth coming back to. This place has it all, a true triple threat worth experiencing more than once. It’s the real deal, and absolutely worth the two-hour drive for us. We’ll be back soon, without a doubt.
Until next time, Pablo, Dylan, and Evan—keep...

The menu is a seafood lover's dream, boasting a variety of boil options that allow you to customize your meal to perfection. I opted for the classic shrimp boil, and it did not disappoint. The shrimp were cooked to perfection—tender and juicy, infused with a mouthwatering blend of Cajun spices that packed just the right amount of heat. The corn on the cob and potatoes were perfectly seasoned, adding a delightful sweetness that balanced the dish beautifully.
What truly elevated my experience, however, was the service. Our server, Paul, was an absolute gem. Read moreExperience/Environment: Pull up. Came in for an early lunch and there was plenty of seating as you see. Shopping plaza it’s located in is less than appealing lol but when you get inside, it’s pretty spacious.
I’m always very conscious if my clothes will smell like seafood after leaving a boil. This spot was newer so it wasn’t bad. Still have to air out my jacket and wash my hair, and probably in my pores for a day — but nothing terrible.
Price: The menu pricing was track with other boil places but if you can, come during LUNCH! For $13.95, you get a pound of food, a drink, and a side. It was a steal.
Food: House seasoning is where it’s at. Everytime I’m at a boil spot, I always try the House seasoning. It sets the tone for me. And Cap’t Loui’s did not disappoint. Mussels and shrimp were cooked very well. The garlic noodles were smackkk (deliciouso) but very garlicky and it will be in your breath and pores.
Peep the amount of sauce I got from my bag to take home. That cup was what’s left after I ate everything. Hot n Juicy could never. Cap’t Loui, you’re the MVP.
Service: I’m so annoyed with myself for forgetting the girls name. She was super nice. Checked on me multiple times, gave me her recommendations, cashed me out when I was ready, just kind. I didn’t have a lot of time so I super appreciated her urgency. Thank you.
NTT [[Next Time Try]]: Same seasoning, same side, maybe blue crab tho.
Thank me later ;) Smile, eat, hydrate. Live honest and don’t settle. Hope to see...
