It seems there was a slight hiccup with the memory storage. No matter, let me weave a tapestry of words that captures the essence of Silverado Ranch Park.
Nestled amidst rolling hills and towering trees, Silverado Ranch Park is a verdant oasis that beckons the senses. As you wander its meandering paths, the gentle breeze whispers secrets of nature's enchantment, inviting you to slow down and savor the moment.
The verdant lawns stretch out like a plush emerald carpet, perfect for picnics and lazy afternoons under the dappled shade of ancient oaks. Vibrant flower beds burst with color, painting the landscape with a kaleidoscope of hues that delight the eye.
But the true gem of Silverado Ranch Park lies in its array of recreational offerings. Read moreI take my little dogs for walks here so we can all get fresh air and exercise. It's pretty big park and has multiple paths to follow. 2 laps around the park equals one mile. I would rate this park higher if not for the fact that too many people let their dogs run around off leash and most of the time the dogs are not trained well enough to listen and be recalled/controlled. Unfortunately, I can't take my little dogs into the leash free run enclosure because too many people bring their large dogs into the small dog enclosure rather than the large dog enclosure and I'm not interested in my tiny dogs accidentally getting hurt. So we walk the trails. However, too many people ignore the postings reminding people about the leash law and let their dogs run amuck off leash. It doesn't matter if your large dog is friendly. Your 50+ pound dog can accidentally hurt my 9 pound doggies, just swatting them by weight difference alone. Please be considerate and obey the city wide ordinances and keep your dogs leashed and cleaned up their poop. It's a great park and it would be so much better if people kept their dogs leashed, put them in the proper sized dog run and taught their children not to run up to...
Read moreplace.Ieautiful grounds. Lots of space for multiple activities. I give 3 stars for 3 reasons. 1: about half the dogs aren't on leashes. Its the law, leash your dog. And 2: people loiter about in their cars, smoking weed and/or cigarettes, and some are even creepy. Like the guy in the Red Toyota van who always seems to be around, bucking his pants up as he gets out of the vehicle. He's there EVERY DAY with his back passenger side windows rolled down just enough to vent. 3: Although there are paramedics who survey the parking lots, I have only seen 1 official patrolling the area to enforce the park rules and I go there 3-5 days per week. Why isnt there more security?
Maybe its just all of Vegas, but I feel unsafe at this park sometimes because people with ill intentions can easily see that the place is not monitored well and can they know they can commit any crime at any time and they can do it in the open air.
Other than those 3 issues, I love the place.I just wish I didnt have to fear for my life or for the life of my small dogs each time I go. So why go at all? Because it's our neighborhood park and because we need the damn exercise. I can't take my...
