D.K.'s Drive In — Restaurant in Ephrata

Horrible. Ordered a regular burger Supposed to have mayo and pickles only got home and had tomato onion lettuce and tons of nasty sweet relish. Also a double bacon delux NO BACON!! Seriously and fries are anything but crispy. But they look it so they do not change their oil!! Look crunchy from all the chunks on the outside bite them full of grease and so raw and mush and full of oil. I hate how they have ran this place in to the ground with the new owner horrible so upsetting specially for the overly priced food!! Should drop the price if you act like McDonald’s lol definitely should not have to check my food at a place like this come on I really doubt they even read any of these comments that have how people truly feel. They need to read them and take advice. I shouldn’t have to drive back after get home I expected this from McDonald’s but this place when it costs this much almost $35 for two people to eat. Wished they never sold this place I miss how it used to be yes took forever to get your food but at least it was right and I even got a milkshake and I seen the chick literally take the nasty rag she just cleaned the counter with wipe the side of my cup!! Family...

Two stars might be a bit harsh.

The good: Workers are typically friendly and their ice cream is above average.

The bad: Prices are really getting out of hand. Food is getting smaller while prices just go up. I get it, inflation sucks. But I shouldn't have to pay over $10 for a bacon cheeseburger deluxe that didn't come with the SINGLE pickle. It came with about 10 shreds of lettuce and ONE tomato slice; two slices of bacon, a burger patty, a slice of American cheese and two buns. How is that $10? Their Philly Cheese steak sandwich is also paltry.. as big as an Apple TV remote control. Their ice cream is also very expensive for what you are getting.

I hate having to give poor reviews to an establishment that has been around but the consensus is when it switched owners prices have gone up and quality has gone down. I think most people who have been going here upwards of ten years will agree with me. I remember when you could get a burger for around $6-7. $10 is highway robbery for what you are getting.

Sad to say I probably will never eat here again unless they change.

Ordered their $9 mother Burger with a large fry and a medium milkshake price came to over $18 drove home found out I got a bacon cheeseburger and half my fries when I opened it at home manager up and down said there was ham on the sandwich I pulled it completely apart Nothing by the way they only put a thin slice of deli ham on the sandwich now and it's only half a slice but I didn't get my burger so I had to take it back the next day Frozen cuz I had to put it in my freezer so it didn't stink up my house they gave me my money back for burger and fries which they should have given me back a little bit more because I shouldn't have been charged full price for the milkshake because there was a drink discount for ordering the basket so I'm out $3 that I should have gotten back oh well I'm never going there again and neither is any of my family or friends they're reflecting the price a painter workers more money by skimping on the customers no thank you anymore your business...
