I like to give places benefits of the doubt but it seems like everytime I visit this place I feel SUPER unwelcomed. I feel like they look at me like why are u here u should be at Denny’s. At first I thought I was overreacting but today I wasn’t a lady in front of me and a few ppl behind me felt the same way I was feeling. Note to the workers from a person who is in the industry if u have a problem with ppl of melinated skin u should find something else to do in life we aren’t goin anywhere we are not animals and I myself can say that I am one who loves EVERYONE. Never been here before, drove over 10 minutes to try them. I attempted to purchase something for $5 or $6 dollars, and was told I'm not allowed to use my debit card to purchase anything unless it's $10 dollars or over. While I understand a business has to pay a small free for a customer using a debit card, they should've allowed me to purchase my ice cream for $6 being as I told them I've never been here before and drove over 10 minutes to try them out. So instead of allowing me to purchase ice cream and them eat the 50 cents fee, they lost a customer forever over 50 cents for debit card fee. I'm trying to be fair with this review and not give a 1 star review on every category...

I hate to say that the location in Erie is alot more professionally run than the west side location. The rudeness in staff is unexceptable. I made a small purchase and was short on cash. No problem... use my debit card.. only on 10.00 purchases.. unreal.. was only. 70 cents short. Offered to leave ky license and debt card there so i could enjoy sundae... no luck.... I was fortunate to have a customer behind me pick up the extra 75 cents... welcome to the neighborhood Whippy Dip... you lost my business and hopefully many. more will read this and realize that there are many more ice cream shops deserving of there hard earned money than this place.......
