Looking for late night options in Escanaba proved tricky, but Mueller's was the perfect option. We got right in with a group of 5. Only one larger table with chairs and the rest 4 or 2 seater booths. This place is not fancy and has definitely some room for remodel; however, that would ruin the cozy retro feel. We were told Mueller's had been there for around 75 years. The pizza was thin, crispy crust that had the right chew loaded with delicious cheese and toppings. No skimping there. The kids had fries too which were thin and crispy. Every option for soft drinks you could imagine and a great selection of apps as well as several other options for dinners. An old juke box entertained the kids and service was pleasant and prompt. While not huge or over the top, we had a great time and will definitely return the next time we're in the area. Try it out! Especially since it stays open until 3:30am on...
Read moreHighly disappointing. I am visiting for work, so I am unfamiliar with the area and restaurants. I called to order for delivery and the person who answered the phone was rude and acted like she didn’t want to take the call to begin with. I felt uncomfortable asking any questions even though it was hard to find an up to date menu online. I ordered “pizza sticks” thinking it would be breadsticks with cheese and pepperoni on top. Apparently it was just mozzarella sticks, which I do not like. I also got breaded cauliflower but would have gotten something different had I known I was ordering mozzarella sticks. I spent $25 for a meal I’m barely going to eat and that I felt was far from worth the price paid. I will be going elsewhere to find dinner...
Read moreWe got into Escanaba really late one night and this place was one of the few places open. The waitress was really nice and patient with what we were trying to pick. The venue is small, but we ended up getting it to go. The had a multitude of options and we ended up getting a sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza. It was one of the best pizzas I've had! The crust had a bit of a crunch but not too crunchy and the toppings were cooked thoroughly but not overdone. The interesting thing about this place is they use a paper like bag with a circular cardboard discuss to put the pizza in. Personally I like it because it made it easier to dispose of. We don't get to go to Escanaba often, but definitely will stop by the next time...
