Oven King Pizza — Restaurant in Escanaba

I initially tried to order online, but it was adding a delivery fee, and I wanted to pick up so I decided to phone in my order. (I realized later that I had accidentally selected delivery instead of pick up.) For the online order, I was only going to be charged half the price of the extra toppings, which was great, because we only got them on half of the pizza. Then I arrived at the place and was given a much higher total. I don’t know what caused the discrepancy because the employee was unable to give me a price breakdown. I assume I was charged full price for all of the half toppings.

The excuse given was that the prices in store were different from online, and they couldn’t do anything about it. They also said the online price would have changed when I got to the checkout part. I tried an online order again out of curiosity and got to the payment part with no change in the much lower total (I took a screenshot). The employee also neglected to mention the $1 credit card fee until after I had paid and asked why the total was suddenly even higher. In short, no one cared that I was overpaying although they said they’d let the owners know. Pretty shady...

We were up on an ice fishing trip. We were staying at a motel. Wanted to try local pizza. We ordered what we thought was a 4 topping pizza and nachos online. We got our food and was nachos and a cheese pizza. I called back because i was like man we paid for 4 toppings. He immediately thanked us for the call said keep the pizza asked us what we ordered and said he'll make it and send it to us. Well after the call we went back through the order process and realized that when we switched our pizza from a large to x-large it cleared the toppings we had. I immediately called back and apologized and said they didnt owe us a pizza. He said thanks for the call but i already made it and im gonna send it to you anyway. The pizza was bomb!! Seriously so good. I wish we had the oven king close to...

The Oven King actually receives a 3.3 however Google does not work in smaller increments. Please do not be discouraged, the pizza is good and it is certainly better than the main three chains, It won't knock your socks off though, I rate the pizza as follows:

Crust 4.5, nicely flavored crust with a slight crispiness to it, not too thin and not too doughy Sauce 2.5, not very flavorful, a bland sauce is as good as no sauce Cheese 2.5, cheap cheese tastes cheap, enough said Pepperoni 3, some pepperoni can have an off taste to it, it's not terrible but there is so much better Bacon 4, the bacon is solid, you can tell it is of high quality, crispy small pieces that taste great Satisfaction 3.5, after eating a slice you'll take another
