Del Taco — Restaurant in Escondido

I ordered a medium number 1 with 2 del tacos, fries, and a drink. As I started eating my fries on the way home I noticed something in my mouth, I pulled it out and it was a long hair! It was SOO DISGUSTING!!! I almost vomited and my first reaction was to immediately throw them away. 🤮🗑 I took a look at the tacos afterwards and noticed not only was one of my tacos missing tomatoes, but the other barley had any on it and to top it off both tacos were soggy and old. This place claims to make fresh food but obviously that is a lie, I went back with my receipt in hand and asked to talk to a manager she was VERY RUDE!!! She told me, “Since I didn’t bring the fries back with the hair in it that she would not be able to give me another one only the 2 tacos.” I told them this was ridiculous and that I wanted another medium fry with my order because that is what I payed for and she ignored me and kept on working like I wasn’t even there that’s when I said “HELLO I NEED MY MEDIUM FRENCH FRIES NOW.” and she gave me attitude and told me she would not give me my medium fries but only a small fry and to take it or leave it. This place is a joke and beyond unprofessional I would recommend spending your money somewhere else instead of wasting it on Del Taco who obviously doesn’t care about quality customer service. P.S. this isn’t the first time either, just the other day my brother had the same issue with hair in his food, so if you like the taste of people’s nasty...

Its not just the value but it's the quality at Del Taco, You get a perfect amount of food for a low cost, and that food Is prepared with much much fresher ingredients then it's late night competition ever will. You can't call yourself a Mexican food establishment without avocado & lime. Am I right??

Del Taco Taco Bell

Del Tacos are questionable in certain areas, we were in the back Escondido, Ca anything goes. When I came in the two women that were working in the smaller size Del taco were In a positive mood very nice even with people in the drive-through they took the time for the order and had it within 10 minutes I used the bathroom, mind you this was at 8:30 PM, questionable, thank God they even allow the bathroom most places to keep it closed off or don't have one. No joke, it was the cleanest bathroom I've ever been in in a fast food establishment, It appeared to have just been cleaned within the last 10 minutes it was polished and scrubbed and smelled great. You could seriously eat a burrito off the floor that's how clean it was. So shout out to the people scrubbing for their employer because us customers appreciate it and I hope the owner and managers do too y'all are doing a solid job, Everything tasted outstanding tonight thank you again ladies.

This is seriously the worst Del Taco I have ever been to solely based on the staff. I go to this one because it is close to home and is convenient for a quick lunch, but God forbid if you get the day manager helping you. Be prepared for a spike in your blood pressure and a massive migraine. First off, she allows the staff to call their customers “Boss” which is in my opinion is EXTREMELY condescending and rude. Second, she is so stingy with sauces. I ordered 6 tacos for my wife, son, and I and we all like the scorcho sauce, so I asked for 12 packets of scorcho which is two packets per taco. Well she decides to completely ignore this request and proceeds to give me 2 mild and that is it. I asked for the correct sauce and she just walked away and told me to leave. I parked my car and went inside to get more sauce from the table so this isn’t an inventory control thing…this is she just wants to be rude thing. She is by far the most unfriendly and disgusting person that I have ever met. The store is disgusting inside with a layer of dust everywhere, fruit flies around the soda machine, and don’t even get me started on the bathroom.

Avoid this location at all costs. You’re much better off taking the extra 5 minutes to go to the one on...
