Management was rude entered my room when u didn't feel like answering door told me I had to let them come in twice a week wether I wanted it or not to clean my room and I couldn't be in the room when they entered. Said I couldn't have any type of visitors. It was a degrading experience and they were rude. Older Hispanic Maid was the only good experience I had with staff there. Not nice people the owners. Thumbs down don't waste your time or money to be treated as a child also they entered room when my kids were sleeping in the afternoon for their nap and I didn't open the door and the manager with some kind of guide checking the blinds open my door knowing I was there cuz the car was there and I ran to the door and said my kids are taking a nap and they push their way in anyways and said it'll just take 30 seconds which I felt was very disrespectful rude and not the right to enter ever heard of it being mandatory to let housekeeping in if you want the service you ask it for if you don't you just declined it they don't give you that option also when I went to move the bed because my child dropped something that rolled under the bed I pulled both beds out and found a lot of trash under them that was not mine or my kids.

This is the worst hotels I have ever seen. My family and I went on a family trip and as soon as we walked into the hotel, it was horrible. Everything was dirty. Beds were dirty, sheets were ripped, chairs were filthy, walls were dirty, spiders on the walls, tv was broken, light switches filthy, I did not even want to touch, and drawers on cabinets would not close. We ordered a nonsmoking room and the room they gave us smelled a lot like smoke and the sheets had burned holes. My husband went to talk to the owner and operator at the front desk and she suggested another room. She took my husband to another room and it was just as bad. My husband wanted his money back, but they did not want to give the money so he said he will deal with corporate and finally the lady gave us back our money and we had to find a different place to sleep that night with our girls. Never again will we think about staying at a place like this. STAY AWAY if you can. The pictures looked great online but in person everything is a mess. Just look at the pictures and it proves it. KEEP AWAY!!

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. This is the nicest less than $100 per night hotel I have stayed in. There was plenty of space to put away clothes and luggage. You might consider bringing some extra hangers if needed, though. A very clean room. Although it sits on a busy intersection, I found that turning on the air conditioning fan dispelled all traffic noise except for exceptionally noisy vehicles. I was concerned that there were no bedside lamps, but overjoyed when I found there was ambient lighting built into the headboard. Don't forget to bring your nightlight for the bathroom. If I visit the San Diego Zoo Safari Park again, I will choose to stay here again.

If I could give this roach motel a -5 stars I would! This place was the dirtiest hotel I have ever been to!!!! Couldn't even really take a shower because out of 8 towels only one didn't have blood stains piss or poop stains on it 🤢. Was supposed to be a double queen room definitely were just fulls. There were no screens on the windows no bathroom fan moisture running down the walls in the whole room do to inadequate ventilation. The head bored was falling of the wall on to the beds it was also covered in god knows what stains everywhere. Supposed to have a complementary breakfast coffee and some dollar store fake honey buns is not a breakfast. Also I was given a regular house key for the door they only had one for the room which was a very big inconvenience traveling with a family of 4. The drug activity and hookers in and out all hours was insane. Please don't stay here the place is not sanitary or safe.

As a response to ur response I tried to tell the staff they played like they didn't speak English or understand what I was saying they also didn't seem to care much how my stay was also apon checking out I voiced my concerns and let them know that we cleaned the room and when they went up and checked so I can get my deposit back there response was thanks now the maid doesn't have to clean the room so gross u guys are a joke and I have been in contact with the proper authorities to have ur health and safety standards checked have a...

Not enough parking on weekends. Place was full when we got back to our hotel on Sat. Front Clerk just said to find parking somewhere across the street.

Rooms Adequate but nothing particularly outstanding. Rooms come with a spring mattress that feels very firm. Although some might prefer it that way, I dont. Also a microwave, mini fridge, 40? Inch TV and ac. Few amenities. There are hooks to place bags and hoodies mounted next to TV and ac must be manually turned on and off. I must say the ac was very good and worked well even during the August heat. Rooms also dont have a "Do not distrub" sign that you can hang outside. Windows are covered with shades and some daylight can shine through which might bother some who sleep during the day. Service During our 3 day 4 nite stay the motel maid never cleaned our room. Was never asked either if they could.

Theres a laundromat right across the street and a few quick service options to choose from that are nearby. All sit down or fine dinning areas are further away. Location is placed near a busy 4 way intersection so you constantly here the sound of cars humming by. If your lucky you might even spot an accident. What i like about the location is that there are 2 different freeway entrances nearby the Inn. However there are many homeless people in the area.

Recommend if cash is tight but I suggest you find better locations to...

So while visiting San Diego and the Breweries I needed a place for my group to stay, unfortunately during labor day weekend there were scarcely any rooms available. Which lead me to just take a chance at the Rodeway Inn, the staff was pretty friendly and we chatted a bit as the system played catchup with us. Sean (working at the desk) disclosed with me that our extra rollaway bed may be an extra charge, which was good to know so there wouldn't be any surprises (unfortunately this isn't shown on Choice's site.) Then the room, oh boy. This is as hotel-y as it gets, but it at least had a flatscreen and hard floors. My only issues were that the AC unit was tucked away in a upper corner, making it less effective than a floor unit would be. The fridge was non-functional at the moment, so it wasn't ready to have our leftovers and drinks in it until we reset this tiny switch on the outlet tucked behind the bed. Oh and the beds? Comfy, sure, but one bed had paint and glitter splattered all over the side of the mattress while the other had red stains on the fitted sheet.... makes me wonder how clean these things are.

Aside from that it was a good rest, I'm sure it wouldn't be my first... or second choice for a hotel in the area again, but if you have no other option the staff is at least friendly and the ice machine is always...
