Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Espanola

Every time I have an appointment in Espanola I stop here for lunch! Let me just start by saying this last visit I really noticed for a fast food chain this place is just so dang welcoming! The gentleman that I assume is the manager is very chipper and goes around picking up trays asking if everyone’s doing okay! The cooks always do so great on the food, they look focused and not bored as other places usually have! Even the guy that announces orders has a cool twist and tone he uses to announce! Everyone seems happy to be here and for someone that might have had a rough day it really changes their mood! Even the music played is upbeat and just fun! I’m surprised I haven’t seen more reviews about this atmosphere and welcoming environment because they definitely deserve the recognition! I’m not a world traveler but I am seasoned enough to know a great fast food experience when I have one and this location definitely nails it! Also I’ve been to several other Freddy’s across the states and this one...

Food was fine, it's a fast food burger joint. Fries were way too small, would have been easier to eat with a fork. Milkshake was good.

The problem was that in the 20 minutes that we were sitting there eating, an employee came by probably 6 or more times to ask us how our food and everything was. It was so annoying! It's a fast food place for goodness sake, I don't see the server that much at Olive Garden. After the third time, we started telling them that it was excessive and they could leave us alone. They were a little surprised and just said they were trying to take care of their customers.

3 different people, checking on customers 2 or 3 times each during a meal, is excessive. They stop, and try to have a conversation each time too almost. I'm there to eat my meal and get on with my day. We won't be back, the food wasn't that good to...

Freddy's facility looked very nice and clean. Customers service ok, very busy inside and out lots of people! We figure we try out this New Burger joint. Disappointed!!! Our burger was greasy and the thinnest Patty ever, bun fell apart, the sauce which is called Freddy's sauce, we decided to give it a try and.. it ..was ..yuck! We were told no mustard and ketchup those were by the fountain drink. You have to order a Double Freddy's burger to get lettuce and tomatoe, and if you want bacon with cheese again no tomatoes and lettuce those are extra. The fries looked like the Fry sticks that come in a can like a tooth pick. (Needs improvement on menu...) As for the Desserts can't really say anything about em..but they looked good.

Everyone obviously has there own take on it, but as for myself and families we didn't enjoy Freddy's...
