Battle Grove Democratic Club — Restaurant in Essex

Attended a New Year's Eve Party there last night. It was the first name I have ever been there. I went there because I enjoy the band that was playing, No Love Lost. They were great as usual. On the other hand, I felt that this club has a lot to learn about throwing a successful event. The food was cold and bland. They were extremely disorganized, as they were selling two 50/50's at one time, causing great confusion, especially when a number was drawn, and my friend was told it was not the right 50/50. I was in attendance if a memorial service when i was at the Democratic center. Every attendant was friendly and very helpful even though they didn't have to be.
