Oh..where do I start. Suzi as a manager you have so much to learn concerning people skills. The first lesson should be active listening as well as professional and courteous communication. Yes, It is simply a basic business responsibility to ensure a customer's order is complete and proper, not the customer themselves. Employees are a reflection of leadership and I certainly see where your employee's work ethic comes from. I hope that the owner of your location's franchise actively monitors these reviews. The rudeness you displayed to my wife over the phone and then to me during my follow up call is grossly unacceptable. You simply do not hang up on a customer much less belittle them. If you've been a manager for 20 years then I guess we can fault your district manager's and/or other employers for your attitude. I guess no one ever trained you differently. As I told you I'd be the first to give praise when deserved. I have given a complete and conversely oriented opinion on how well a restaurant and its employees performed and recommended they receive praise. I've also been known to escalate as far to the top as necessary with both positive and negative business interactions. Unfortunately this will be a negative I take as far as needed. All you had to do was credit our debit card back the refunded difference. No we will not drive 20 minutes both directions to get that refund. Basic economics contradicts that logic. I also don't by your excuse that "your computers had switched over to lunch and there was nothing you could do." When pressed you offered to remake the missing meal items, however unacceptable a solution that was. Let me say it's not about the money or the food at this point, it is just Hardee's after all. Maybe my expectations are a little high but respect and doing what's right should be more heavily weighed. That's why I will make every effort to escalate this. I could let it go, but then you would certainly treat others the same in the future. I hope an education can come from this. I hope the other two managers, of whom you said we're all there and listening, can find better examples of leadership. Also, let's not judge what other people can and cannot do, okay. I'm mostly sad this had to happen when the resolution was so easy, but someone needed to assert their pride where humility belongs. I look forward to speaking to the district manager and beyond. Read moreOrdered 3 of the same burgers, First was ordered as they are described on menu. Second was as described, but no onion. Third was to have only the bun, burger, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. BEFORE the order was made the drive-through worker was told it was a special order, he was a very pleasant gentleman, he took our order, it showed on the screen as ordered, we felt it was done properly, it was late, we drove home to have dinner there. We should've double checked the bag. Such a bummer. They were all exactly the same, all had onions, and catsup, pickles, etc. Our kids were fine, my husband, the pickier eater, ended up without any bacon, and condiments that he despises and no mayonnaise. Thankfully we had some buns, cheese, and our own lettuce, tomato and Mayo in the house or it would've been thrown away completely. Read moreEtowah Hardee's does an amazing job usually everytime we eat there. This past week things didn't start out so great, it seem chaos was starting to get them mixed up on the orders. But no, the friendly, kind workers stayed calm and respectful to the needs ofa very picky 😉 customer and especially Miss Brenda she kept a smile on her face the whole time go to and from my car to get my order exactly right b4 I left. I commend Brenda for her excellent effects because of her and all the smiles that afternoon this sad alone Lady got to enjoy her burger her way and not be more upset 😢 that no didn't care Thank you so much.
