Please avoid ordering through doordash if at all possible! It is such a hassle! I used to order at the neighboring Mexican restaurant but decided to switch to this mexi wing because they hardly get customers and thought it would be easier, closer, and the very least faster. I've done this a few times and the only time I didn't have an issue is when I had the male cashier. The other experiences were with an older lady who Literally asked me for my LICENSE to pick up my food lol and every other time I dealt with her it was always an argument just to pick up my food. I advised her to speak with her own manager and get some help fully understanding how door dash works and that im not a driver i simply ordered my food online. Tonight I dealt with Rosa who is not bothered or worried that im going to complain on her. I sent my daughter in there to pick up my food so I could stay in the car with my 6 year old and surprise surprise I have to go inside and argue again over my food. She had an attitude as I was expressing my frustration for having to do the most to receive the food I paid for. Maybe its weird policy they have but judging by what little business they get as it is and im betting a lot of it is door dash I highly suggest they have these certain employees relax quite a bit on protecting these online orders. Read moreMy husband and I went in for dinner last night and had a horrible customer service experience. Our waitress kept coming to our table to see if we were ready to order literally every minute and when we were ready to order she clearly had zero knowledge of the menu. After we placed our orders a man we assumed to be the manager informed us that they didn’t actually have what I had ordered (carnitas tacos, a very basic staple Mexican dish that is listed on their menu). They also did not have a soda that I ordered that was clearly listed on their menu. My husband ordered wings since they’re raved about so much and are most likely made fresh, but the rest of the menu was just sad. If you’re going to serve Mexican food, you probably shouldn’t have spaghetti on your menu. You can’t possibly be that good at that many things and there’s no way on earth that the food is fresh. Ultimately we ended up getting my husband’s wings to go so that I could get some food elsewhere. After waiting close to 20 minutes for the wings to be ready we finally left and mutually decided that it was the most uncomfortable dining experience we had ever had. I want to clarify that I was not rude or showing any attitude toward the customer. Many of our regular customers know that I’m always kind and polite. I was patient and took the time to explain why I needed confirmation on the order — it’s simply part of my job to make sure the food is given to the correct person. I remained calm and collected, even though the customer was causing a scene in front of others.
We care deeply about our customers, which is why we always ask for order confirmation before handing out food. This policy applies to everyone, including DoorDash drivers and online orders, so it isn’t directed towards one person.
