Black Rock Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Eugene

I stopped here after looking at a home for sale. This may be my local coffee shop.Should I buy the home. I'm really glad I stopped here. Wasn't sure what to expect. It's a very cool vibe inside. Filled with a mix of people. Some young, some older, definitely everybody was full of life, chatting with each other. It seems less of a place to work. More to meet up. I was hungry and they recommended the jalapeno bagel sausage breakfast sandwich. It was not too spicy. It was just right and I highly recommend it! They have it toasted perfectly. And it was very reasonably priced. I will have it again. I got a cold mocha, sugar-free. It was also good. I will stop here again just for the breakfast bagel. The A restaurant was clean and I saw that bathrooms were available although I did not use them. The young lady at the register was super friendly and had many suggestions. She was full of smiles. Definitely made the experience positive to have such caring customer service. My breakfast sandwich came out immediately. I had to wait a few minutes for my cold mocha. Reasonable weight considering they have a drive-thru and there were four cars waiting four...

This establishment had lost my business as a consumer and as a driver for DoorDash! I have been to this Black Rock location numerous times and I have been to others as well, such as the one in Bend!

The difference between the two is like night and day!

The last time I was at this establishment, I attempted to voice my concern to the employees in a respectful manner there that their enacted policy of marking the orders ready, though the order is not, is deceitful and back handed!

The orders are usually not started until the customer or driver arrives though they mark the order ready continuously!

I was then refered to the owner, who just happened to be there at the time, who had a "matter of fact" attitude and did not understand that the way they conduct business is wrong because they are taking time away from their customers and drivers and recommended I don't pick up orders in that case, if I had a problem with it because thats the way they set up contracts with DoorDash!

Compared to the location in Bend, this location is lousy at customer service and has lost my business as a consumer and a driver...

This location is insanely dirty. Ordered a bagel sandwich drove around the corner to take a bite with a nice long hair baked into the cheese. Took it inside and the assistant manager thought it was funny, and got mad at me and said I was rude because I told her I didn’t appreciate that when I was calm and collected the entire time, as I I had to now double back and spend my time doing this. Make sure they scan your app because the guy didn’t scan my points apparently, according to the assistant manager, but then she said he did, so not really sure on that confusion. Took over 20 minutes just to get a refund and she was completely unapologetic after calling her regional. the assistant manager made sure to go behind the counter really quick and call the regional when I said I wanted to put in a complaint. Not good service, the inside was dirty, and who wants a Hair baked into their sandwich? Not to mention she told me the girl who did it was on break and she walked back in and laughed when I told her what happened. No apology, no refund of the coffee they burnt....
