My review is long overdue! As one born and raised in Eugene, and this is my family’s spot for donuts growing up. Their donuts and bagels are so fresh and satisfying, and their biscuits & gravy are delicious; fluffy (not soggy) biscuits drowned in a savory and creamy sausage gravy, exactly what I’m looking for when I order from other breakfast joints. My family’s favorites are the glazed, sugar, Apple fritter, chocolate Bavarian cream, and maple bar donuts. Their dough hits different; light and fluffy instead of thick and heavy, and not overwhelmingly sugary-sweet if that’s your thing. I usually see the same friendly faces at the counter/cash register, and their customer service is great. It also feels good supporting a family-owned local business, especially since their stuff tastes better than places like Krispy Kreme and Voodoo Donuts imho. They’ve stayed consistent and everything tastes just as yummy as when I was a kid. I live in Seattle now but I’m glad my family stayed in Eugene so I can visit Cal’s Donuts whenever I’m in town, or even on our way to/from the airport :) Check it out!

Note that it’s a cash only...

Cal's Donuts & Pastry is a delightful family-owned gem nestled in Eugene, Oregon. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warm and friendly family who run the place, making you feel right at home.

The donuts here are simply outstanding. They are some of the fluffiest and most delicious donuts we've ever tasted, each bite a perfect balance of texture and flavor. The variety is impressive, catering to all tastes, from classic glazed to more inventive flavors. What's more, the prices are incredibly reasonable, making it easy to indulge without breaking the bank.

In addition to their mouthwatering donuts, Cal's also offers Boba tea, which turned out to be one of the best we've ever had. The tea is perfectly brewed, and the tapioca pearls are just the right consistency, adding a delightful chewiness to the refreshing drink.

If you find yourself in Eugene, a visit to Cal's Donuts & Pastry is an absolute must. Whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat or a delicious Boba tea, this charming family-owned shop will not disappoint. Highly recommended for both locals and...

Cal’s is a wonderful bakery that values showing up for its customers every day with fresh baked goods. It works hard to sustain its business, especially in this time of economic uncertainty. Sophia, genuinely, how could you write such a horrendously inconsiderate review about such a hardworking small business? Yes, it is rude to come into a small business, remark on their selection, and then leave, as the owner depends upon your order to continue sustaining adequate operations. Nevertheless, regardless of your snarky, out-of-touch, and inaccurate review, Cal’s is a dependable and well-operated small business with wonderful owners and baked goods. Will be returning here over and over again. The best of items are kept classified! Truly, what a special and nostalgic place for North Eugene and surrounding residents. Thank you Cal for all you...

Me. Who is I. That is correct. I like Cal's Donuts. Old Fashioned with old fashioned integrity and customer service. The hour was late. The doughnut and pastry selection was few. The owner treated me like I was the first customer of the day or his long lost brother. Lovely, indeed. An Old Fashioned and an Old Fashioned Buttermilk Bar. I have few words. What is wrong with making a donut the same way for over thirty years, possibly more. NOTHING. Only everything right. Crisp and firm on the outside gives way to a light sweet and soft interior. Entrancing and welcoming. I can wait to go back. Impatient in my patient rectitude. Too many donuts don't you know. I must savor the memories so as not to spoil the inner children. But return, I shall.

I've drove by this place a few times and since I had to stop into AutoZone, I thought damn a doughnut sounds good right now. walked in, nice place. The guy was super friendly and I could he was very dedicated in his baked goods. I ended up getting like 4 doughnuts and the dude hooked me up with 3 regular types on the house. What a guy! The Buttermilk is pretty good and the creme filled ones so tasty! highly recommend if you are look for good doughnuts for a decent price.
