We stopped here on a Saturday night before an event. It’s cute inside! We sat at a table for 2 in the bar area. The bartender who was our server was very nice. I love that they have a mocktail menu, how inclusive! We talked with him about the options and he recommended a few. We decided to try the “Sweet Sunshine” and it was delicious! It’s pineapple, blood orange, lemon, house almond syrup, simple syrup for $8. For an appetizer we got the Goat cheese bites ($12) which are drizzled in berry sauce and *chefs kiss*. Delicioso! It’s just something about goat cheese that makes you forget you’re lactose! 🤣 5 bites come in an order and they definitely need to make it 6 cause we were about to tussle for the last one. For entrees we got the chicken and waffle sandwich ($17) and the Bacon Pimento Cheese Burger ($18) minus the pimento cause eww, I’m lactose again. The chicken and waffle sandwich was great. The waffle was so light and airy and the chicken from the chick fil a Gods! The burger was a burger, nothing spectacular about it. The fries were good but I needed like 9 more. I know restaurants are measuring their fries and serving exactly 6 ounces but put some parsley on the plate or something for the dead space or just add a few more ounces of fries. The decor is nice here and it’s a pretty big restaurant. I remember even being impressed by the bathroom. Great dinner spot overall.

The Copper House is a cute, light atmosphere in a chic redecorated part of town. The atmosphere and staff were cozy and friendly. Truly good service. The goat cheese balls and the lavender lemon drop drink were unfortunately the only highlights of the night. Both were reasonably priced for the awesome quality. The carbonara and the pesto pasta, however, were very, very disappointing. The pesto pasta was 16 dollars and the carbonara was 18 with an additional 8 dollars each dish for shrimp (the only tolerable part of each dish.) The pesto pasta was oily and flavorless, and the mushrooms tasted like dirt. The carbonara was bland, but edible with salt and pepper. Not a $96 meal AT ALL. Again, a good spot for apps and drinks but DO NOT recommend the pasta. We did not ask to speak to a manager or bring up concerns since the shrimp part of the dishes had been eaten and we didn't want to imply to the server we had issues with anything but the food. We are super non confrontational and the server was so friendly.

New spot recommendation! Copper House has an excellent curated menu with elevated staples as well as uncommon and appetizing options you don’t see as frequently. The mushroom soup was phenomenal and the salted brown sugar cake was probably my favorite dessert I’ve ever had (not even dramatic.. woah). I believe they are also introducing a brunch offering soon. The really special aspect about this spot is that they source just about everything from their tables to their chairs to their art to their ingredients locally. They’ve got a locally made centerpiece that is incredible, a whole tree room with live plants, and a room influenced in its decor by Audubon State Park. It has a beautiful ambiance and sophisticated steam punk feel. It is great to see Evansville produce such an excellent restaurant.

Loved Copper House. Nothing to NOT love here! Absolutely yes to the decor. The living edge tables, the paintings/murals, the brick, I mean even in the restrooms every aspect was on point. The food was delish. I had their buffalo chicken sandwich. I rate sandwiches all over the country with my patented 1 to 5 Napkin System. This was such a 5 Napkin Sammy that I had to eat part of it with a fork. Soooo good. My waitress recommended that I not miss the loaded cheesy grits. She nailed it. Excellent! The service was flawless, timely, helpful, pleasant. As I said, nothing not to love about Copper House. With all of this, I would expect higher prices. But cost was modest. Tax, tip and food (no drink) all $23. With such quality, I would have guessed $30. Get in there! Give them a try!

Wow! This is definitely a must try new restaurant. The atmosphere and ambiance was amazing, they did everything right on the interior. They have a great beer selection with both domestic and craft / local beers combined on draft. And the food is absolutely incredible. We had the fried goat cheese app, salmon BLT with seasoned fries, the Asian bbq tacos with a chop salad for the side, and lemon vanilla cheesecake. The best cheesecake I’ve ever had hands down. Everything was top notch, and you can’t beat it for the price. Also, Kayla the bartender is amazing. She was our server and she was so knowledgeable about the menu and the drink selections. She really went above and beyond. 10/10 recommend :) ps, my photos don’t do it justice!

Very friendly, polite and respectful staff! Atmosphere is very relaxing, the decor is beautiful, almost makes it feel like home. The food OMG!!!!! Is freaking AMAZING!!! I’m t has been a long time since I have had food that literally brings back child hood memories ( Southern Real Food ) that placed a smile on my face and in my heart. I had the Steak, Grits, and Mushroom dinner and the steak was marinated very well, the mushrooms cooked literally to a perfection, and the grits oh my oh my was spot on. All I can say is that my husband and I definitely will be back!! Oh yeah the desert was amazing from what my husband said.
