Dove & Twig Cafe — Restaurant in Evansville

I got an oatmeal cream pie which was delicious! And a half caf mocha with marshmallow. The reason my review is only four stars with service being three was the experience behind ordering something half caf instead of full caf. The whole nature of the interaction between the person taking my order and I completely changed when I asked for my drink half caffeinated. She told me she’d have to charge me extra for decaf and explained the trouble behind it was they’d have to pull a separate shot and only use half of it. I then opted for a bigger size so that I could have two full shots in it and so that nothing would go to waste. She still strongly assured me she’d still charge me extra. I’ve never been to a coffee shop that charges people extra for decaf espresso because people need it oftentimes due to health reasons (myself included). I definitely picked up on the notion that I was annoying her with my request which was definitely disappointing as my drink was delicious and I’ve never had an experience surrounding ordering decaf like that before. I don’t mind paying extra although unusual imo, it was just more the interaction behind it all that...

It was a little difficult to find using Google Maps- you can’t really get there from the western parking lot without walking in front of the church. That’s not their fault, but I figured that it’s helpful to know.

Anyway, patio area is very nice and the inside is large. It has a very chill atmosphere. All the workers were very nice and the manager was great. The food was good as well...
