Weโve been coming here for special occasions and date nights since 2015. Itโs been a while (about 6 months) since weโve been to red lobster but we heard about the crab fest and decided to give it a go! We went on 7/06 which was a Thursday evening around 7:15 PM. The restaurant was moderately busy at the time. We started off with the new loaded crab fries which were well seasoned, crispy, hot and yummy. The crab on the fries tasted nice and fresh! The cheddar bay biscuits were yummy as always and delightfully warm in temperature! For our entrees I had the new garlic butter snow crab legs and my husband had the endless shrimp. The snow crab was honestly the best I ever had! The crab legs were nice and hot when they came out (which is rare for crab legs most places we go). There was minced garlic, parsley and butter smothered all over the crab legs. I was in heaven! My husband tried a few different types of shrimp for his โendless shrimpโ entree. He loves every kind he tried. Our server, Nabia, was kind, attentive and helpful. She was very knowledgeable when it came to the menu/drinks and gave us recommendations for the new items that we were unfamiliar with. She was a great server throughout our dinner. The only critique we had was the cleanliness of the restaurant dining area. The tables are scratched from wear and tear. The dinner plates and saucers are scratched also from years of use. The dining area looked like it hasnโt had a deep clean in a while. This was evident from the dust in various places and the pull down shades that had some kind of debris on them. Maybe food? We also noticed a large spider ๐ท๏ธ while eating and had to kill it. We know spiders are almost unavoidable. It just startled us as we had our baby in the booth with us. Overall, our dinner was very enjoyable and yummy. The crab legs were the best part and I canโt wait to have them again next time I need to treat myself. We will definitely be returning to Red Lobster in Evansville. I hope management sees this and takes note of the cleanliness issue and tells the cook that was on shift that night that they did a...
ย ย ย Read moreWow, what a change from the past experiences I have had at Red Lobster. We don't get there much, but just on special occasions. I had the Admirals Feast I think, and the wife did a Create Your Own.
She did not get one of her selections, but she said it was fine. The Calimari appetizer was really good, as well as the salad and Cheddar Biscuits. If we would have stopped there, it would have been a pleasant visit for sure.
We saw all the wait staff, except ours, as she seemed to be hiding in the Witness Protection Program. I ran out of my drink at least 3 times, and she was nowhere to be found. The other tables got good service from what we could see, at least the wait staff was attentive from what we could see.
Our waitress was nice, but not seen much, and when she asked what we needed, and disappeared to get it, she would come back later, but without what she went to get, which in most cases is my drink and more biscuits.
Wife brought about half of her meal home, and again, she went to get the take out box, and came back with the bill, but, no take out box.
The food was good, however, there must be a Mr. Magoo Chef in the kitchen. I am about 90% Legally Blind in one eye, and not the best vision in the other, as both eyes have cataracts , however, I can still see taters with Black Rotten Spots! Yes, 2 rotten spots on my tater, but I only took a pic of one.
It was not that busy to not look at what you are serving your guests! My wife had solid black rotten taters at another local restaurant that made her since, and I wish I had snapped a pic, as that is just totally uncalled for, and we never went back to that place.
I know Red Lobster filled for bankruptcy protection, so does that give them the license to serve sub standard, poor quality food now?
We I go back? Will see. There are plenty of good quality seafood restaurants in town that have always treated us really well, with...

From the moment I paddled my way into that nautical wonderland, I knew I was in for a gnarly treat. The place was decked out with all sorts of oceanic vibes, like I was catching a tasty wave right into a seafood paradise.
The menu was like a wave of options, crashing down with a righteous array of seafood goodness. The lobsters were the real surf stars, strutting their stuff with a buttery glaze that made my heart skip a beat. And those shrimp, dude, they were like the raddest little sea creatures ever. Fried, grilled, or scampied, they made my palate do a righteous air flip!
Now, let's talk about those Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Oh, man, those fluffy little clouds of cheesy delight were like catching a tube in flavor town. I seriously considered sneaking a few into my board shorts for later snacking, they were that good.
The servers were totally stoked, too. They rode the waves of customer service with skill and grace, dropping pearls of seafood wisdom and making sure everyone was riding high on seafood satisfaction. They were like the gurus of the sea, guiding us through the menu like seasoned wave riders.
But hey, no wave is without a wipeout, and I gotta admit, the wait times can be a bit gnarly during peak hours. So, if you're looking to catch a wave without getting caught in the lineup, consider making a reservation or hitting the restaurant during off-peak hours.
All in all, Red Lobster is a rad spot for seafood enthusiasts and those craving some righteous ocean vibes. So grab your board shorts, wax up your taste buds, and paddle your way to Red Lobster for a seafood experience that will make your belly do some serious...
