I've went to Hardee's off and on since I was a toddler. What keeps me from going more is that I don't always get up early enough, don't have enough money to constantly eat out, and I don't live especially close. However, I go and when I can, I dine in. In fact, there have been times I was closer to other Hardee's locations, but went out of my way to visit the Boeke Rd. location because I know what I'm getting there. In short, if I could eat more here, I would. Anyone paying attention to me probably knows that too.
The service is always just right, friendly and I know they'll give me what I ask for. The blonde girl in the mornings is especially efficient, earns her keep through hard work. I never feel rushed by the workers, they treat me like a person rather than an obstacle to their break time. I have a simple order and they give me hot, fresh food. Good food is worth a little wait, but IF there's a wait at all, it's only so long as it takes to put the order together. Dine in sometimes feels a little quicker than drive-thru, but I can be in and out having eaten in twenty minutes either way. The dining area is always clean. And at least for breakfast, I can't beat the price. Of the sixteen plus breakfast places I know in Evansville, I count this as pound for pound the best. On the few times I've went in after breakfast, the quality lived up to the time it took and the price I paid. Ten out of ten, will munch again!
Closest I can come to a complaint about them is the one time the guys forgot to give me napkins (easily fixed). And I'm still disappointed corporate discontinued the classic...
Read moreThe food was cooked to perfection. The service however was horrible. I walked in and asked the cashier if they were able to break a $100 and he called his manager up front. So the manager proceeds to count the money in the drawer and then says as long as it's real then I can. So I let that roll off of my back because I have a headache and I didn't want my food spit in. I ordered a number 10 and then just chicken tenders. No number anything. Just chicken tenders. He was so focused on the $100 being real and putting it in his back pocket (thought I didn't catch that trick uhh 😉) that he charged me for a chicken tenders meal. He gave me the total which i knew was kinda high for what i ordered, but due to me having a very bad headache and just wanting to eat and take my medication to get rid of my headache, I paid the amount. After 20 minutes of him coloring the $100 to make sure it was real, he finally decides to give me my change. Moral of the story, when a person ask you a simple question that requires a yes or no, just give a yes or no answer. Oh and don't back...
Read moreThere has been a large number of negative reviews of this Hardee's. I think that it's a little planned if you disassemble a sandwich to take pictures of it. It just seems a little planned. Anyway, I went for a biscuit sandwich at 8:15 in the morning. They were busy but not packed. There were two or three people in the dining room. There was a total of five customers that placed orders inside while I placed my order. There was also a constant flow in cars that went through the drive-through. I ordered a chicken fried steak biscuit with egg and cheese, a large hash rounds, and a large drink. The food was great, served promptly, and looked incredible. I ate in the dining room, and it was clean and maintained. I used the bathroom, and it was also clean and maintained. There were plenty of workers to staff the restaurant, and they were taking turns getting their brakes in. My only other comment would be that the people postings negative comments with pictures should probably look for more ways to find joy and love in...
