This is probably the worst visit I have ever had at any restaurant let alone Outback. To be honest we haven't gone to an Outback in a few years and after this last visit will never return again. Outback had some great pluses at first like an online list waiting and the hostess was extremely friendly and welcoming unfortunately no one was wearing nametags so I couldn't tell you anyone's name. But after being sat It all went down hill from there. Starting with being severed soda water for Sprite and are watriess that ignoring us to the point that she severed table salads around us and a kitchen staff to bring us are one with croutons one without ( come on how do you mess up a salad) and the blooming onion was also alittle under done but the kids were so hungry the eat it all. It was so bad I had to stop other waitress to get bread that we ask for twice and salt and pepper and for the manager again some of the staff was quite helpful and nice. The manger on the other hand not so much. I informed her about the rib eye bone in being rancid and without removing the plate or even look at the plate just took my word for it which was nice and offered replace it but in all honesty there was no way we were eating anything out of the kitchen tonight. I simply ask for the check for the items we did eat. But at this point I'm thinking to myself nothing came to the table correct but the ice tea wait no she missed the lemon I ask for when I ordered. Needless I received a bill which I paid. But the worst part was the manager talking about it to other people and saying seriously as we leave the building. If it was my store as I believe this to be a franchise I'd be in my store alot more! If I could give it a worst rating and better warning...
Read moreTL;DR. 2.5 hours to get burnt as hecko meal and charged prices of a real dining experience. 1/10 going to texas roadhouse from now on.
Story time! Here we see the steakhouse which is second in popularity only to Apple-bees. Now here we go to get some lunch just after the eclipse and you would think when we get there it would be packed, right? Nope! wondered why. We sit, we wait. we wait with our two year old and wait. AH HA! Waitress! drink order! ten minutes later we get silverware. ten minutes after that we get drinks and... they left... ready to order (after going on half an hour) and they are not taking that order, no sir. they do come back though! with drinks! and then try to leave again without getting order. We do get it in and after ANOTHER! half hour have to flag down the manager because our waitress has vanished. POOF! he goes back... and then goes behind the bar to watch some TV. Neat... Comes back after the 2 year old starts to get grouchy. food at last? nope, refills. At almost the two hour mark the food arrives.... burnt.Rare steak? more like rarely taken off the heat steak. Coconut shrimp? was it cooked with a blow torch? even the kid's macaroni was burnt! Dry, right from the freezer in to the fryer burnt until done there you go, enjoy $80 for three people are you serious?! Then we have to HUNT THE MANAGER TO FREAKING PAY! So... Explanations Outback? got anything for this because.... I've been to truck stops that have...
Read moreMy two kids and I came in to Outback Steakhouse there in Casper for a late lunch. We ordered and got our drinks and appetizer within 5 min. Four people came in and were seated at the two tables around our booth, and their orders were taken after us. A half hour later, we realized the guests at the two tables had gotten their food and ate their meals before we even got our main course. There was not a huge crowd of people in there, and we received no apology for the food being late. Its understandable to be a 15-20 min wait if they had to cook my prime rib cut to my medium rare preference. I felt like the other 10 minutes there was someone dropping the ball. The waitress did a pretty good job, but had a miss when we asked for a side of ranch with the appetizer, she made somewhat of a scene when my son asked for more mustard other than just a small cup she brought with his burger, and she missed the chance to get my son a refill on water as she walked by 3 times in a hurry. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection, but the service was not the best. I tipped more than I really wanted to, only because I hoped it would boost her morale, and give her some incentive. Out of the handful of visits we've had to this restaurant, this...
