I am a regular customer at this McDonalds location. I live 4 minutes up the road. It seems over the last six months that this McDonalds has become almost intolerable to eat. I am steadily waiting in the lobby for extended periods of time waiting on my order every time I show up. It seems like the employees would rather stand around talking about marriages and miscarriages or what other drama they can think of rather than having a sense of urgency tending to the customers. Every time I go up there, i see at least three people standing around talking rather than dealing with what needs to be done which is the job at hand. The last five times I have been there have been the worst McDonalds experiences and food I have ever received from any McDonalds. My cheeseburgers have been hard as a rock and you can tell the patties have been sitting way too long. They are hardly edible. Then on top of that I have to piece together my burgers after unwrapping them because the cooks are just tossing them in a wrapper without a care in the world. In my opinion, presentation is just as important as ticket times. Sacrificing a quality looking burger for a few extra seconds shaved off of a ticket is not worth it if you are trying to give customers a quality experience. Every time I get my french fries there is no salt on them and they are handing out french fries that are old and cold. McDonalds has a six minute time frame to sell fries once they come out of the fryer, but yet I am spending 20 minutes in the lobby and watching them a hand out those fries knowing they are not good. It seems like every time I go through the drive-through I am not greeted with a friendly face, instead I get an attitude from someone who does not want to be there. Everybody I speak with that visits this location feels the same way. Numerous people, so I know I am not alone in having faith that somebody cares enough to make a change before I quit spending my money there. Read moreThis is the closest McDonalds to my house and therefore one of our only options for cheap and quick food. Going through the drive thru is always a 50/50 shot of them handing you the wrong size or completely wrong drinks, handing you your order saying they read the reception and then saying they're waiting on something that was never part of your order. I was told twice one day that they were waiting on cookies to be ready when we never ordered cookies and they gave me the wrong size and wrong kind of drinks twice. As a fast food employee myself, I understand. People have off days, sometimes people get misinformed, people forget, etc. However, I DONT understand how this has gone on for so long. Mobile orders for a single drink take longer than a $50 drive thru order, delivery through ANY app leads to the same end of missing multiple items of food, and ordering in drive thru is a train wreck. I do NOT blame the young employees who haven't been shown how to correctly run a drive thru or expo line. I absolutely DO blame poor management for incorrectly training their employees and not doing better. I do feel for the people who are trying to make changes but get nowhere. Corporate needs to step in and do a full retraining. Again, as a fast food employee, no food should be given to customers that is burnt, old, undercooked, cold, etc. Delivery orders should be CHECKED to make sure that they have EVERY ITEM in the bag before sealing. I ordered a mocha frappe this morning, I was there at 9:32 AM On June 18, 2021Your employee handed me A caramel frozen drink, I handed it back and I explained that I am allergic to the dye in the caramel please give me my mocha frappe! At that point I watched the young man take it to the person who made it, and that gentleman told him to scrape off the toppings put new toppings on with chocolate on top! What part of having allergic reaction to your employees not understand? I have to admit after seeing them do that I was very angry and did not want to confront them at the time, I drove home I made my husband test the drink to see if he tasted any caramel in it and it was packed with caramel! I tried to call the restaurant to discuss this calmly with the manager and have been getting a busy signal for over an hour and a half! Now like I said normally I am very satisfied with this McDonalds .. This could have been a tragic error for me ! Please inform your employees of the proper way to handle allergy related topics! Had I not been late for an appointment I would’ve calm down and went in and talked to the manager right then! PS there was a gentleman (I believe in camo,) pants and a hat That told this young man to just scrape off the toppings!
