Merry Go Round Restaurant — Restaurant in Evansville

First time I came here about a week ago could not get a refill on a coffee and it took forever to be seated with many empty seats and waitresses walking around. Food was okay that time, this time I come in I look like I'm a ghost or one hell of a stranger because everybody likes to just stare at you if you got a pink mohawk hat or long hair you must not be good long story short food was burnt this time as far as the hash browns go and the eggs were delivered undercooked a little raw. I come in this time I'm waiting to be seated and all the waitresses just walked by for good couple minutes and finally someone says you can seat yourself, but the sign clearly says wait to be seated does not say seat yourself which says that on the opposite side; so turn the sign around people!!! Yes food does get delivered quickly however it does not get cooked properly...

I judged a book by its cover and in the parking lot it might not seem like much. After entering, I noticed several elderly people eating here. And when I sat down I was looking around and noticed a sign saying "83rd birthday party" for the store (I think it said 83 if I remember correctly). I realized this place has been around for all of these people lives, and it warmed my heart to think about people eating at this place when they were kids and they are still eating it here. Very good food breakfast fast and special bacon eggs toast or biscuit under 5 dollars and very nice servers ask for Kelly always with a smile on her face very fast service and owners work there and on hand everyday but Sunday closed then. If u cannot ring a friend there you won't find one there lots friendly people there and if u go there much u will see they will get to know ur name and when you walk in Kelly will even ask if you want your regular lol down to the.point bacon med eggs over medium white toast and oat mill no no Brown sugar and and no butter forgot she bring my drink along with her very sweet girl with kids so don't for get the tip all servers there very nice they derive...
