I went to Donut Bank on Diamond Avenue this year for my daughter's third birthday cake. While ordering the cake I requested a character from my daughter's favorite cartoon to be drawn on with icing. The woman helping me suggested the edible paper, and I declined due to personal preference. At the end of the order she read back all of the details correctly.
I went to pick the cake up the morning of my daughter's birthday. The cake inside was tiny, unimpressive, and lacking in creativity. The character was printed on the cake in edible paper, despite my request. The most disappointing part was that it cost me $17.00, and it barely produced eight small slices.
I called the Diamond Avenue branch of the Donut Bank for a refund, for which they had to seek their manager's approval. I was supposed to receive a phone call return within the next day, and I never heard back from them.
I am very disappointed in the service I was given, and I will not be doing any future business with this company. My advice would be to go elsewhere when ordering a cake for any event. I'll bake and decorate my own cake before ordering here again for a fraction...
Read moreHow Donut Bank has fallen. Went the morning of Christmas eve, for starters they didn't give me the long john I ordered, told them at the window and the lady found one in a bag and said oh they put it in the bag. Seems odd since they put the rest in a box they can fit a dozen in and I didnt order but a half dozen. Get home and go to eat the long john first and its a cream filled one, not what I ordered. Then I got to eat a donut hole and it tastes like someone else already put it in their mouth and spit it back out. Very soggy and mushy and way too much icing on them. Its such a shame after not having donut bank in over 3.years after living in Germany and now in Texas. Made a joke pulling out of the parking lot how they almost messed up our order like they constantly do in a city of a million in texas where they can never keep up with the line, just to get home and see they really did jack it all up. Went at 8am and the taste and quality of the donuts is no where close what I used to love and...

Which im sure is a infringement on his freedom of speech. My cousin is a naturally quiet guy and drsling with the love of his wife dying woul render anyone mute. Who knew you needed to talk to make donut and ice them. Jordan and Tyler that work there are the biggest kiss a$$e$...
