Rude Bartender Experience. Sadly in the restaurant industry these young people fail to realize that you get ONE CHANCE TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION. MY FIRST VISIT THERE. Place was packed. Only open seats were at the bar. On a Friday.... We sat down, and I watched the Bartender go down the line to each person in the group being rude and disrespectful. Handed the person next to me the wrong drink, and got mad at them because she didn't hear what was ordered, she thought the person said something else, short with me, the fella next to me got treated the same way. She threw his bill on the bar that was all covered in spilled drinks, he couldn't even sign the slip. He asked for a new bill so he could sign it without it ripping, and again she was rude, the bar back kept staring at the guy next to me and started to say something rude, and I had had enough. Been there maybe 10 minutes. My first beer in a year, and with a fella I met at a music festival that was very insisting that I come with him and check out mo's house. I asked for a manager, and told that guy he needed to step back . The bartender and that guy were out of line towards us, and now I see why the bar was empty on a Friday while the tables were all packed. The manager came and was dressed in a T shirt, so I'm not real sure if I was actually talking to a manager or just another server or bartender, but she sure tried to defend her bartenders actions of being rude and disrespectful to people. Things that happened in the 15 minutes I was in that restaurant are mind blowing, I would be glad to enlighten the owner regarding their staff in a face to face at some point. Rude , Disrespectful behavior among other things are never acceptable.
Hmmmm, over 3 months and No one has reached out to hear the rest of the things that happened right in front of my eyes. I even read a reply from the owner that stated they like responsible guests... Considering what I seen from the bartender and in today's world with equality for all, in of all places Mo's Bar... Wow. Every person I was with, paid in full, Every person that was treated rudely, and discriminated against, for no reason at all, asked for a manager in a responsible manner and were basically told, sorry about your luck , we are busy, and sometimes that just happens. Well, ok, ??? I guess? Bad business is Bad business right? Denial is Denial Right? Just like what I witnessed at your Bar that night from your Employees was Rude and Unacceptable, and apparently Not worth Following up on? I can honestly say that you wouldn't believe it yourself, especially in a Bar that celebrates Equality, but I did see it with my own eyes, and others with me seen it also. I still can't believe I seen it happen, but it did Happen. Sorry. I don't get offended by much, but .... Your bartender straight up made people feel like their rights had been violated, and they were discriminated against, and your bar back straight up tried to Bully a guy that was just trying to pay his bill. I seen it all. I was just sitting there. Don't even know the other people, I just met them outside at the music festival, and they were so excited to tell me about your Bar and drug me inside to check it out. Then got treated like that. NOT COOL. JUST SAYIN. Your bar back actually called me an obnoxious drunk because I told him he was rude. Like I said it was my first beer in a year. Your employee was rude to me and way out of line. When we left, we talked to several people outside that did not hesitate to tell us that the bartenders were like that inside Mo's Bar. That being said, you really don't need to reach out to me, I'm Good. But if I was a Bar Owner, I would Definitely be giving my Bartenders Friendly Advice on How to treat My Customers with RESPECT. I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY BE LETTING THEM KNOW THEIR JOB DEPENDS ON IT.
Thank You, and Your Welcome š BLM š Because that's what happened! I seen it first hand. Unreal !!!!! Never had the chance ,or was even offered the chance to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've never been treated as badly as I was tonight in Mo's bar. I ordered one shot of Makers mark 46 and 1 Miller lite. The bartender ( stocky girl ) was prompt and was able to get my drinks fairly quickly. I knew I wasn't going to order anymore to drink so I asked for my bill. She again promptly got my bill to me and without my glasses I asked her what the total was. She said it $64.00 . I was astonished at the bill knowing the shot of Makers mark was not $64 being I was in your bar 2 days prior and ordered the same drinks. After she argued with me That I must pay the bill I demanded to talk to a manager, she said there are no managers here. I said there has to be a mistake please check it again ( which she refused) luckily a server came to the rescue and quickly saw her mistake and corrected it. What if the other server wasn't there working??? There was no other person with any authority there. This bartender was rude and unapologetic!! She was quick to locate MM 46 but didn't know the price š¤ and if the shot was that expensive, she definitely didn't care to tell me š¤ why wasn't she able to check the price again since obviously a Customer was upset? š¤ why when we clarified the almost $70 mistake, she never apologized š¤ WHY DO YOU TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES TO BE THIS RUDE TO CUSTOMERS?
I Will be in tomorrow to talk to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe visited Moās House for the first time and unfortunately, the experience didnāt leave us wanting to return. As new customers, we had no idea the main entrance was on the side, not the front. The front door was locked, and with no signage to guide us, it was a confusing startānot a huge deal, but definitely not the best first impression.
Once inside, there was no hostess or clear direction, so I stood there awkwardly until a waiter finally told us we could seat ourselves. He was polite enough, but never introduced himself or made much effort beyond that.
I ordered a Sazerac, and it was extremely sweetānot balanced at all. Iām usually a fan of that cocktail, but this version just didnāt work for me. We had planned to hang out and try a few more drinks, but after the cold start and the disappointing cocktail, we decided to cut the visit short.
Maybe it was just an off night, but as a first impression, it just didnāt feel warm or welcoming. Not sure...
