Beyond horrible customer service. Had a field trip planned since January with Duane Myers. Received an email from him in Mid January to say the date wasn't available (after he had already confirmed it was). We rescheduled via email on February 5 to a new date of April 14 . I mailed (and communicated that the check was mailed) on April 5th. Fast forward to April 11th. I receive a phone call from Duane stating he hadn't received our check. He stated that he could give it one more day, and if it wasn't received by tomorrow (April 12), he needed me to bring one to them by the end of the day, to which I agreed. At 3:00pm today, April 12, ONE day before our field trip, I receive a phone call from Duane stating that because the check wasn't received until today, the trip has been cancelled. I requested a call from his manager. Matthew, who stated he is the Executive Director (and that he has no one to report to, nor can i file a complaint with anyone) called me to say that it would be cancelled. He was unwilling to even try to accommodate us. Never, EVER will I recommend this...

Beautifully decorated in period style and furnished with original furniture, artwork, and wall coverings. This was a delightful tour led by Ford - the intern who spent an hour and a half explaining us the details of every room, kitchen, bathroom, the grounds, the servants quarters. He walked us through the life story of the right family’s 10 children, it was a relaxing trip and gave us an insight into the life and times more than 150 years ago. Don’t forget to check out the refrigerator and the doorbell mechanisms before there was any...

My fiancee had an appointment to view the facilities for a possible wedding venue. The appointment was at 3pm and we arrived at 245 to find another event going on. We rang the door bell and received no response. We then called the number my fiancee was give........3 different times with no response. We hung around for about 15 minutes till someone came by and unlocked and went into the house. He never acknowledged or asked us if we needed help. This was at 315, we then left. We still have not...

The Reitz Mansion is nothing short of breathtaking—a true work of art. Nearly everything is original, and the attention to detail in its construction is absolutely mind-blowing. It’s hard to even imagine what it would have been like to live there back in the day, but thanks to our fantastic guide, I almost felt like I did. As an architecture enthusiast, I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to admire such a stunning piece of history up close. If you love historic homes, this one is a must-see!

This is a must-see house/mansion. Beautiful home, and very well kept. Our tour guide was very informative and passionate about his work there at the home (Ford). They have taken very good care of this piece of history. It's like stepping back in time. They allowed you to take pictures, and was very welcoming to us while we were there...
