Bokeh Lounge — Restaurant in Evansville

Great atmosphere and some cool people. It was a slow late night when I was there but definitely a bar worth checking out. I had a burger off the 5 dollar menu that was bangin too. I saw a dude and his evil hand puppet discuss weather he should have water or another drink. There was a couple dudes on stage playing whatever and they were entertaining. Bartender was doing an outstanding job. She could have handled another 200 people to make drinks for and no one would have to wait. I looked for the petting zoo but there was not one. I don't really think any bar should have one. With the smell of manure and all. There was a chick at Mardi cras one year that took me and made me her pet. She over powered me there was nothing I could do. I felt so used. You guys are the only people I have told. Don't tell anyone please. My brother's band played last night at the Bokeh. I really enjoyed it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the lack of table service. I understand that when you're busy it may take longer, but twenty minutes for a beer and another twenty for a Coke refill? Aside from that, it's a beautiful place to sit on the patio and have a fun night! I've heard great things about their food and have yet to try it. The menu is a little pricey...$15 for a burger? I understand that we're dealing with inflation, but you can make up the difference with quality/quantity of sales. Just my personal opinion. Also, sodas are BOGO and not free refills. I gave it 2 stars because the waiter was nice enough. Being that ut was 1st Friday I accepted that it would take a long time (1 hour 45ish minutes) to get my food. When it came the order was wrong. The veggies came on top of the burger I ordered due to food allergy I asked it to be remade. He waiter took it in and about 2 minutes later returned with it. I asked why back so quick. He stated that the cook just took the toppings off. I repeated that due to food allergy I would like it remade. He informed me that it would be another 45 minutes.
