Chicken & Rice Guys — Restaurant in Everett

I love the food!! There’s no issues with the quality and food but I do have an issue with the employees. When I ordered from BFT online today, I walked in at the time of pickup and they didn’t even have it prepped and the employee didn’t even know I put an order in and I had to tell him what I got and then he proceeded to tell me, $12.38. I said NO. Bro I literally walked in saying I have a pickup order what the !?@$??? This food is so good it’s a shame I never ever get what I paid for. I went in and only got one white sauce with my order which is supposed to come with 4 since I ordered 2 large plates. Also didn’t give me extra white sauce and crispy onions THAT I PAID FOR ON THE BTF APP. I’m so displeased with the service here. The kid literally was sitting there on his phone not even caring about the orders pouring in and didn’t care to look at what I even got. I’m so upset because the white sauce is my favorite and now I don’t even want to eat the entire plate. Thanks chicken and rice guys Everett. From now on, I’m checking my bags before I leave, which is something I shouldn’t do for a job that simple. Thank you for the amazing food but please, for the love of god, hire actually...

Talk about surprised. I stopped in this location at around 8pm on Thursday night. I have never had the chance to try anything they have but have wanted to a bunch of times but haven't been able. So tonight I stopped in and ordered a small plate to try. Chicken and some pita bread. The young guy was so nice and friendly he explained the options and sauces and put a few things in some microwaveable bowls as i told him I was going to heat it up for lunch the next day. He was really a nice guy to speak with and shows the quality of the staff you hire. I haven't even tried the food yet and I can't get over how great the staff was. In a time that people in the restaurant business are over worked it was so nice to interact with such a nice guy. I only wish I had gotten his name and I wish I had employees like him in my business. UPDATE 9/2023: Chicken and Rice Guys has redeemed themselves. My orders have been correct lately and the food is really really really good. That white sauce is just perfection, I wish they sold it by the gallon. Who is running this place and how is it still open? After ordering from here on uber eats and it being WRONG about 4 times I decided to just come in and pick up my order. Called to place pickup ahead and was told "they don't do pick up orders, just come in". That's weird huh, so I get in the car drive about 15 minutes from my house, drive around looking for parking, walk in just to be told the Chicken and Rice guys have NO chicken. You couldn't have told me that on the phone?!?!? I will never order from here again and it's a shame because I actually liked the food. Thanks for screwing up so much you've lost yet...
