Glendale Park — Attraction in Everett

So beautiful what they did to this area & glad they finally added a few swings too (even though after just 1 summer one is already broken & has not been fixed) the area is always in pristine condition, very well maintained. We especially like this park because its wide open space and has a bunch of table & chairs to have a bite to eat while kids are playing at the playground. I do wish they had a toddler specific area of the playground because most the slides are very high up or have a difficult climbing cave you need to attempt to reach a portion of the playground. Also over the 4 years I've gone to this park I've seen 6 kids ages 3-8 fall and get SEVERELY hurt from their largest slide. To the point ambulance had to be called on numerous occasions. That slide has low sides & is about 20 feet off the ground with open sides up the top prior to sliding. So when it gets super packed it gets dangerous up there. Also the playground area has these huge bumps that bubbled up under the ground so kids & even adults trip and fall all the time and get cut up. Overall it's a great park...

Yes, they really built it up! Nice track for doing laps, a playing field for sports and playground for the kids...also landscaped and clean! They even have restrooms in the summer. There used to be parking but now that's the Everett High lot...you might find a space on the streets or the lot behind the park being re- tarred at this time...also multi- cultural. As Everett has become more like Cambridge....

Another park in Everett that has been re done it's done over nice no splash pad area for the kids to cool off in the summer and I don't make it a point to go here so my daughter to play we only go here if we happen to drive by and wants to play for a few I have it 3 stars because it's re done and looks nice bit other than that not really a fan here and don't like the kids it attracts but thsts...
