The service and food I get ever seem to be pretty good usually, my biggest issue is I order ahead on the app and it never seems like my order is ever ready when I get there. The whole purpose of ordering ahead on the app is so it's ready when I get there. I generally go there for lunch when I do go which is several hours before most people's lunch and not during the lunch rush or a rush at all. There's typically not very many customers at all and no one in the drive to line when I get there so I'm not understanding why my order is not ready or even acknowledged by the employees when I get there. So then I have to drive around and wait in one of the stalls they have assigned for people waiting for their order. I understand that sometimes it's not always possible to have it ready for certain reasons, but the convenience of ordering on the app is useless at this location so far because beyond getting maybe any discounts and points on the app there's no advantage to ordering it this way to make it convenient. So this shortens my lunch period having to wait for my food and so I don't go here very often as I would if I hadn't had these problems. They also seem to be good about including the spicy garlic sauce and soy sauce that I check on the app for ordering, but the additional comments where I add to please include chopsticks has never once actually resulted in chopsticks being included in my bag.
Also Panda Express has discontinued two of my favorite items, Black Pepper Chicken and General Tso Chicken, I understand that these probably weren't popular enough to keep on the menu, but these were definitely my favorite and after they discontinued these items the frequency of my visits went from a couple times a month to maybe a couple times a year. This has no effect on my rating for this particular location, just something that I wish they would change because these were considered some of my comfort food to help raise my spirits during certain periods of my life. I've tried to replicate these dishes using different people's renditions claiming to be nearly the same or the same recipe but unfortunately are far from the flavor and taste when these were offered. I do like that Panda uses high quality ingredients and may not exactly be extremely traditional, they are very consistent with their recipes and of the few that I still enjoy I hope they...
Read morethis review is for the one at 8417 evergreen way. after just giving them a rave review, i was craving it again. went in an hr before closing, i was informed they had limited entrees, but could make what i wanted in 8 minutes, i said that was fine, i said i would wait for all to be fresh if they could.
apparently they did not want to do that, they asked me to pull around and park, they would bring it out. when they brought it out, i was so hungry, i dove in the bag for an egg roll. i dont know if they put them in the container while the one entree they had to make cooked? but that was the coldest, soggiest egg roll i have ever had, and i used to get chineese food at safeway.
so after 2 bites i threw it back in the foam container, and grabbed a veggie spring roll as i pulled out. i can't say it was worse, but it sure was not better. 1.4 miles, and 2 street lights later, i was home and ready for some good food. this got no better than the egg rolls, not only did they give me beef instead of the grilled chicken entree i ordered, they all tasted old and were hard. i think the one i waited 8 minutes for was the grilled chicken that i did not even receive. sadly the best part of the meal was the chocolate chip cookie, the family meal had 1 in it, so my family had to ro sham bo for it.
after choking down one of the worst dinners i ever paid $50 for, i got to wash it down with a cookie, yes i won. normally i would have let the kids fight over it, but i had to the strange taste the orange chicken left in my mouth. if you read this entire review, you should get a cookie, and sorry i was so...
Read moreThis is the only panda express I have visited that has ever had a concern, but after everything I won't be returning to this location again and I would recommend visiting another location to others. Unfortunately this is the closest to my house, but I will go out of my way to avoid. I showed up through the drive thru w/ my fiance. We ordered a bowl and plate, the plate was entered into the system wrong as having orange chicken instead of grilled chicken. But the bowl was entered correctly. The plate was made as entered, and the bowl was incorrect as having shrimp instead of orange chicken. Upon entering to have the order remade, the front lady handed it to the lead, who handed it to a co lead perhaps, who tried to hand us back the incorrect food as if we were the problem. My fiance told them it's incorrect and not at all what we asked for, explains the problem again that the receipt is wrong on one and the other is just made wrong. After waiting for the food to be remade, my fiance reported that no apology was ever made at any point. I recognize human error, but to be handed around and then given the same food back without even asking what the problem was, without an apology during a very...
