I don't like this place. I went because they left a flyer on my windshield while I was parked at an actually good thrift store. The store is tiny and cramped without good ventilation. There was a child at the front desk? Idk what was up with that. I understand that the plan is for customers to dig through the overflowing boxes of cheap stuff but there was just too much there in my opinion. The parking area is small with very few available slots. They had empty food bags and melted chocolate in their bins in addition to used fuzzy handcuffs. I know that fuzzy handcuffs aren't exactly the nastiest "adult novelty" to use after a stranger, but it's still not a good sign in my opinion. Also also, a lot of the items they had scattered about the bins cost factually less new than the price they were charging.
Overall I hated the experience of being in this store and will not go...
Read moreI had read about this store in the newspaper and finally had the opportunity to check it out.
This store was started by a child, for those who are shocked to see him working the cash register (saw a few reviews mentioning this).
This store is well stocked and it’s CLEAN. It was fun browsing through the bins. We found a ton of great items at a great price! The items were clean and not broken. We found bamboo mattress protectors, school supplies, faux flowers, a rug, bath tub toys, art supplies, party supplies, makeup (that was still in original packaging and not broken!), clothes (mainly from Target) and lots of other items.
The owners were helpful and not rushing us or rude in anyway. This store, although smaller, is far superior than Cheaper by the Day in Lynnwood. Way better selection and better...
Read moreI decided to shop here after reading an article about how the business started and finding that a 15 year old, with the help of his family, opened and runs this place. It's similar to Cheaper by the Day in Lynnwood, but if you've been subject to the owner of CBTD's rudeness and shrewdness, you won't find that here. Everything is clearly priced here(price of the day is on the wall and everything else is priced evenly), and I suggest looking at how the business works prior to coming, as it can be confusing for those that don't often thrift shop or are unaware that the item that's $10 on Saturday will be $1.50 on Thursday...if it's still there.
