My boyfriend and I were hungry and we were in the mood for some good Mexican food. So we decided to try out a new place in downtown called tacos and beer. The atmosphere was complete chaos. The waiter seemed kind of annoyed. It was not what we were looking for at all so we paid for our drinks and left. I read the reviews about Senor Sergio and we decided to stop here since we pass by this place all the time. When we walked in there was only a few tables filled on a Friday night and I wondered if it was maybe because it was a little outdated but honestly after eating dinner here I am quite surprised there werent more people. The staff are absolutely amazing. You can feel the love and dedication they put into running this place, all while making sure their customers leave happy and satisfied. If you want to feel truly taken care of this is the place to stop. Isabel was the sweetest waitress I have ever had in my life. She was so kind and attentive, I never needed to ask for a refill which I appreciate so much! They bring you some chips and beans, and they have a salsa bar that you are welcome to grab different kinds! I loved the variety of salsas. It's great to have options if you like mild or more spicy. Their food was great. I got the creamy chicken enchiladas YUM. My boyfriend tried an assortment of their tacos and he loved them. I have eaten at a lot of different Mexican restaurants in the Everett area and some are way over priced. This place though seemed like a deal to me. Our meals with my soda and my boyfriends beer was only $58 before tip which usually at other Mexican restaurants can range from $70-$90. So not only do you get amazing service, a good meal, but it doesn't break the bank either. This place clearly does not get the recognition it deserves. Give this place a chance, stop by, and I bet you won't be...

The nachos were a flavor explosion, perfectly layered with all the fixings, while the large golden margarita was a refreshing companion to the delicious meal. Every bite and sip was a testament to the pride and care that goes into their food and drinks.
It's evident that Señor Sergio is a family-owned gem, where passion for both cuisine and hospitality shines through in every aspect. A definite must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican fare and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll cherish the memories of this culinary adventure for a long time!

Read moreThe worst service I have ever received. The owner waited on us. I have a eating disorder and can only eat a couple of bites of food. Ordered queso and a plate of food along with my partner ordering. Our bill was 71 dollars and I ask for some chips to take to go with quest and she told me she would have to charge me 4.99 and then ask for a Lil cup to put the salsa in, mind u they have a salsa bar and she wanted to charge me 1.99 for that. Plus she had already charged me for to go containers. This is a disgrace, you go and spend money and can't even get what you need to take home to eat. She was do rude and disrespectful. I ask for change so I could leave her a tip, because I am a nice person and use to waitress so regardless of situation I always leave a tip. She told me she didn't have change. SMH this lady really needs to change her attitude not sure what makes her feel she is so much better than anyone and that there isn't other places to go eat with much better customer service. We will not be back. This probably explains why there was only 6 people in there eating...
