Super disappointed! I’ve been going to this location for decades and never had a bad experience. This past Thanksgiving I ordered a turkey cake from here and the decorator was friendly and inviting! BUT yesterday there were new employees I hadn’t seen (under new ownership?) and the woman employee put her fingers into the dished ice cream I ordered for my son to pull something out. Then I saw a hair in the food and pulled that out. When I got my ice cream cone, she apparently pushed too hard and broke the cone. I didn’t even make it out to my car and the ice cream fell off the cone onto the ground. I went back in seconds later. The woman helping me didn’t speak to me, so a young woman explained that I could BUY another cone at a kid cone price. I showed her the broken cone, and that it wasn’t my fault that I got no ice cream. She said sorry, that happens “all the time” (I’m 52 years old, this is a 1st!) and I’ll need to buy another cone. Absolutely no way!! I will not return to this location ever again, they don’t understand customer service and it will hurt them in the long run. Terribly disappointed. Read moreWent here today with my wife and 7 year old daughter and the young man behind the counter was super sweet to my daughter and treated her with lots of respect taking the time (actually multitasking while working) and answered the MULTIPLE questions my daughter had for him, he is VERY VERY nice and my daughter adored the attention he gave her, he made our icream's very fast but they were still perfectly made, I've been to dozens of 31 flavors over my 38 years and they have all gone down in quality, with either lack of customer service or dirty stores, NOT this place, it was hospital clean and was happy and joyful to be in, we showed up at the very end of the night at closing and if he was irritated about it we would have never known, he made us feel welcome and as if our Business was appreciated.
I recommend this 31 flavors if you want the experience you remember from your childhood, the guy/kid that was working alone on July 2nd at closing gave us an amazing experience and we appreciate it, thank...
Read moreI don't know what this kids problem was but he messed up both orders 2 times and I was THERE ordering, not online. I wanted 3 scoops of different ice cream for my daughter, but instead he scoops a kid scoop into a kid cup and hand it to her. I said I wanted 3 scoops of different ice cream, so then he grabs a big cup and scoops 3 scoops of the SAME flavor in the cup. I told him that's not what I said, and that I wanted 3 different flavors in a cup, which I said from the beginning. Instead he had an attitude and said "well maybe you should tell me before I started scooping" and I told him I did, twice LOUDLY so he could hear through my mask. Then he scoffs and shoves the cup to my kid. Then when I asked for 2 scoops of one flavor and 1 scoop of another her ignored me and scooped 2 flavors I didn't want and never said anything after that.
