Restaurant is known to call police on their customers if they ask questions. Will use personal vehicles to illegally block in customers who they feel are parked in 'their' spaces (this is a shared lot, not clearly marked to customers). Food WILL make you sick. As someone who is a HUGE supporter of small businesses, I made a sizable donation to their business when they were burglarized in 2017, and they have continued to treat me as an annoyance instead of a neighbor and (now former) customer. Both husband and wife are aggressive and bordering on threatening whenever I have offered suggestions to help resolve parking issues. Steer clear and spread the word.
As far as details about the food quality:
The tacos al pastor not only contain ZERO pineapple, the meat is FULL of gristle, fat, possibly tendon. I gave it a pass the first time...even considering the salsa had no flavor, just heat, and did nothing to compliment the food.
This was also the first time I've EVER spat out rice and beans. That went straight into the trash.
I gave them a pass.
I tried again. Same experience, and owners treated me like a disease for happening to actually WANT to eat in their establishment. I just don't get it.
Third time's a charm: ordered the chicken quesadilla, WITHOUT rice and beans. It's edible, but not worth the $6.99 plus $3.01 tip I left. It's not 'all-white meat' chicken, which I didn't expect anyway, but it wasn't anything to be excited about.
Always, ALWAYS felt sick after eating here.
Better bet?? Ta Carbon on Evergreen. Generous, gracious staff, PLUS true charbroiled authentic tacos...AND sometimes...
Read moreThis place doesn’t offer free water. I told the guy no worries, I’ll just grab my bottle from my car, and he got mad and told me I couldn’t bring in any outside drink. After some haggling I had to purchase a disposable bottle. And then the icing on the cake is they don’t have recycling.
The food was good, but making customers pay for water, and not telling them until AFTER they order food, is a shady business tactic. And it’s also horrible for the environment. I can’t imagine how much plastic they’re unnecessarily wasting on a...
Read moreI’m from Arizona and have been all over the world and this great Nation. Burritos are my favorite and this place... is the best I have ever had. I asked the woman for pico, and she said no, her burrito didn’t come like that. I knew right then, I had found the one. I don’t think I’ve ever reviewed anything before. I called to tell them how wonderful it was and not only did they not answer.. their voicemail box is “full”. I freaking...
